NCAA Hoops’ One Tree Hill

Heh-heh… Okay, for all ya’ll not familiar with the soap opera (yes, i said soap opera and I’m not ashamed to say I do watch this soap) One Tree Hill, it’s all about two brothers who have different biological mothers and are both stars in their basketball team.
Oh yeah, this is the only soap opera I do watch, honest!
Of course, these two brothers have two huge egos where one desperately wants to outdo the other. In the end, they settled their differences and piloted their team all the way to the playoffs only to miss what would’ve been a game-winning shot in the championship game.
Kind of a bittersweet ending eh?
Enter NCAA College Basketball.
The NCAA College Basketball picture this year can be associated with ‘One Tree Hill.'’ Like the TV show, the NCAA also has two basketball players who are quickly becoming their school’s go-to-guy, the question here is, who is better one?
One wears his hair shaggy while the other prefers it closely cropped. One has a mustache while the other is clean shaven. One wears his socks high while the other, sometimes, wears no socks at all.
Gonzaga has junior forward Adam Morrison while Duke has senior guard J.J. Redick.
Morrison is Redick’s closest friend and at the same time, his fiercest competitor. Redick is also all these to Morrison.
‘’The biggest thing I’ve seen this year is how he’s moving without the ball. He’s more of a threat than just shooting 3s,'’ Morrison said.
‘’He has the ability to shoot more ways than I do, but I can shoot the 3 better,'’ Redick said.
An exchange of critique so to speak, about each other’s game although they haven’t really met on the court in this year’s NCAA College Basketball wars. But they surely would want to meet in March to find out who really is the best. You see, NCAA’s One Tree Hill is not big enough for these two.
Well I can kick both their asses on the court, anytime anywhere. You can believe that.
