Online Poker: Good Things Happen To Rich People
Here, apparently, is the formula to make a million dollars. Get famous, act in a poker-themed movie, sit back and wait for an online gambling site to make you an offer you can’t refuse. Matt Damon, according to the sources at Gambling 911, has been offered a cool mil to play exclusively at Nine.com. These Nine.com guys must be pretty cool – they know people who have been on TV before:
This after all is the same company that hosted a Super Bowl party in Las Vegas with guests that included several Sopranos stars and Superman Dean Cain among others. And we’re not just talking about a media firm paying to have these guys sit in a cordoned off VIP section. It was obvious to us that the founders of Nine.com were very much friendly with Steve R. Schirripa (Bobby), Emmy Award winner Michael Imperioli (Christopha), and John Ventimiglia (Artie), not to mention Dean Cain.
"Artie" really shouldn’t be a feather in anyone’s cap, but whatever. By the way, how much trouble do you think Matt Damon’s going to have getting "MikeMcD" as a nickname online? 6/5 it’s already taken. Matt Damon to play poker exclusively with Nine.com? [Gambling 911]
