In the wake of the filibuster deal, politics blog Slowplay.com suggests now’s the time to sell Senator John McCain short on his chance of snagging the 2008 GOP presidential nomination:

The only thing resolved in this so-called “deal” is that if John McCain wants to be president he’s going to have to win the Democratic nomination.

This may be a good time to sell McCain short in his bid:

This move also damages Frist’s chances:
