An NFL Football game that made Fantasy Owners Happy

This NFL Football season has been all about defense. Tell that to the Chargers and the Bengals now.

Last Sunday, NFL Football saw a scoring barrage that made fantasy owners pissing on their pants. 49-41 was the final tally at the Bengals’ home in Paul Brown Stadium. Unfortunately, it was the Bengals yet again who came out losing.

The Cincinnati Bengals were in total control as early as the first quarter. They came up with three straight touchdown plays; a Jeremi Johnson three-yard rushing touchdown, a Rudi Johnson seven-yard rushing touchdown and an incredible 51-yard pass touchdown from Carson Palmer to ‘’Ocho Cinco'’ himself, Chad Johnson.

Ladainian Tomlinson, probably the best back in NFL Football at this point, fueled a San Diego comeback that saw them erase a 28-7 deficit at the half. Ladainian scored his second TD of the NFL Football game on a four-yarder to cut the deficit to 28-14 in the third.

Then, with the Chargers STILL down 38-28, coming to the fourth quarter, it was Ladainian Tomlinson yet again, this time a two-yard rushing TD to cut the lead to three. And just when you thought LT had enough, he came up with a nine-yard rush to the end zone to give his team their first taste of the lead.

A lead the San Diego Chargers never relinquished.

The win gave the Chargers one of the biggest halftime deficits they were able to overcome, 21 points, matching their biggest comeback in franchise history.

‘’We didn’t panic,'’ San Diego Chargers QB, Philip Rivers said. ‘’We didn’t point fingers like some teams around the league do.'’ The Cincinnati Bengals, now at 4-5, have been pointing fingers for weeks. The defending AFC North champions fell three games behind the Baltimore Ravens with their fifth loss in six games, one that resulted in personal bests but not much else.
