Apparently, the man who replaced Rasheed in the starting lineup when THE SHEED was still in Oregon, took this ‘’changing of the guard,’’ literally.

Last week, Zach Randolph was a passenger of a driver cited for racing in downtown Portland. Well, that is according to the filed police report.

Taquan Portis, 22, was cited for speed racing, careless driving, failure to obey a traffic signal and no front plate — all traffic violations. He is scheduled to appear in court July 6. – ESPN

Portis was driving a Dodge Magnum registered to Zach Randolph when they were pulled over by the police at around 3:15 a.m.

The police also found two loaded handguns in the Dodge Magnum. However, Randolph was not cited because, according to Officer Catherine Kent, he had a concealed weapons permit.

Either that or Randolph here has bribe money for the stupid officers of the law.

Officers estimated the car was racing at 50 to 60 mph in a 20 mph zone, Kent said. The Trail Blazers issued a statement that said the team would conduct its own investigation into the incident. – ESPN

The statement reads, ‘’While Randolph was not ticketed or cited, he is mentioned in the police report as the legally licensed owner of two registered handguns found in the car. The team must withhold further comment, pending the outcome of its investigation.’’

Wow, after trading Rasheed Wallace, after having both Randolph and Darius Miles injured most of the 2005-2006 NBA season, and after kicking out the team’s most potent defender, Ruben Patterson, I wonder what else can go wrong for this STUPID city?
