I used to dream of things like this one…

Many beer lovers dream of having free beer at home.

That dream came true over the weekend for Haldis Gundersen of the western Norwegian city of Oslo.

Gundersen thought she was in heaven when she turned on the kitchen tap to find a plentiful supply of beer.

A worker had connected a beer barrel to the apartment water pipe by mistake.

Beer FaucetYou’ve probably never heard of Haldis Gundersen, but once you hear her story, you might want to get to know her so she’ll invite you to her house.

The beer was flat, but I still think that deserves a full-throated "Dude!" and Gundersen has to be considered a candidate for Best Week Ever status. [Best Week Ever]

But heaven turned out to be hell at the Big Tower Bar, located two floors under Gundersen’s apartment: water, not beer, flowed out of its beer taps.

Brewery experts were summoned and discovered the cause of the fault.

Is that a problem?

If it is, then it’s one problem we’d like to have. Right J.J. and Mullen? This is our idea of heaven! Unfortunately, the beer that came from the taps was flat.
