Bledsoe is still Crying over Spilled Milk in NFL Football

After Drew Bledsoe lost his second starting quarterback job, the nightmares of New England began haunting him again.

And yeah, you can bet your ass that the Dallas Cowboys former starter now backup quarterback, will bring it up again. Apparently, up to this day, he believes that New England Patriots head coach, Bill Belichick, lied to him in 2001 and after he lost his starting QB job to Tony Romo in Dallas, all of a sudden, it’s all happening again.

But at least, THIS TIME, the Dallas Cowboys were honest to him about it. Or so he says until they kick him out of the team.

‘The only thing I didn’t like about that situation (in New England), that was different from this one, I felt like in that instance I was treated dishonestly,’’ Bledsoe said. ‘’In this situation, Bill (Parcells) was honest with me. We sat down and had a conversation about it and there was nothing dishonest about it.’’

Yeah sure, but if they finally cut you out of their payroll, we’ll see how honest they still are.

But come to think of it, did the Patriots coach, Bill Belichick really lied to the guy? Let’s say Bledsoe is right and Belichick ‘’lied’’ to him, telling the former franchise quarterback that he would have all the time he needed to win his job back from Tom Brady in November of 2001 after nearly being killed by the hellacious hit from New York Jets linebacker Mo Lewis.

If Belichick did, in fact, say that, then he certainly didn’t carry it out for long, because within a week of that alleged conversation, Belichick called both Drew Bledsoe and Tom Brady back into his office and told them Brady would be the starter the rest of the year.

So much for the ‘’Patriots lied to me’’ bullshit eh? Well, if I was coaching this guy who just can’t do anything but stand still inside the pocket, I would say this.

‘’I don’t think you’re that good, Drew. Never have. You are, in fact, one of the easiest quarterbacks to defend in NFL Football. If I was not coaching you, I will look forward to playing against you. You can’t move, don’t read coverages well and have never been able to handle teams that blitz you up the middle.’’

It’s time to go and retire Drew. You just lost your SECOND starting quarterback job. Boo fucking hoo.
