Easing a Seahawk’s Pain in Hawaii
Yeah right, keep telling yourself that.
No matter what these Seahawks tell you, even though they will have seven players playing in Hawaii for the Pro Bowl that, as these Seahawks say, will help ease their pain, there’s nothing as painful as to be THAT close from winning it all and coming up a dozen points short.
”If I was at home right now, I’d be sitting on my couch going, ‘Ohhh… we were so close,’ you might have been wallowing in it a little bit,” Seahawks center Robbie Tobeck said.
”It is nice to come here and be around some other guys and just have a good time,” Tobeck added.
Yeah right, whatever works for you big guy.
”In all seriousness, this is a dream come true, just to be here,” said Matt Hasselbeck, Seattle’s prized quarterback.
”I’m not going to complain or feel bad or sorry for myself or my teammates. I mean, the Seahawks, since I got there to where we are now, are totally different. We’re going in the right direction, not the wrong direction,” Hasselbeck adds.
The QB concluded by saying, ”Walter Jones used to have to come over here by himself every year. Now, there are seven of us. It’s cool.”
Finally, at least there’s someone from Seattle moving on.
I’m starting to think that these Seattle folks are so depressed that they’re starting to drink their cappuccinos without the foam.
