Let’s face it. Everybody places a little wager on the Super Bowl, whether it’s money or in jest. And we’d all love to know the winner in advance.

Well, here are some guys who might help you this coming Feb. 5.

Sheila Lyon, co-owner of a magic shop at Seattle’s Pike Place Market, calls the answer to which team will triumph “an easy one.” Lyon doesn’t know much about football but saysher crystal ball is the best in the world. Lyon checked it just a couple of days ago and what she saw was the number 8. In Chinese numerology, 8 is a number for awards and rewards. So she figured the Seahawks will win by 8.

Mark Sherman, another fortune teller from Seattle, also thinks the Seahawks are going to come up winners. His prediction is based on a different source - druid sticks. There’s two things he saw. One is the number three, the other one is the number one. Number three is a number for coming together in a celebration so he thinks the game is going to be fun for the Seahwks - and they’re going to win by three. One is the number for new beginnings and the Super Bowl is going to be a new beginning for the Seahawks.

Pittsburgh psychic Ronda Snow, who is 40 and working on a doctorate in natural health, normally follows hockey, not football. After learning that Seattle would be the Steelers’ Super Bowl opponent, she now sees the Steelers winning by something in the neighborhood of seven to 10 points.

In other words, may the best team win.
