Gulfstream Park opens race meet, then closes for two days
Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida – undergoing a $200 renovation – is set to open its 2006 thoroughbred meet today. And in an effort to avoid 2005′s opening day embarassments – not only do track officials ask their patrons to bet on Gulfstream at Calder – Gulfstream will also go dark for two days after opening day to make way for more last minute tune ups.
South Florida horse bettors are ready to bet though and if you are curious, we have gathered free horse racing tips to sink your hard earned money on.
GULFSTREAM PARK opening day racing picks [HorsesWild] has four horses for each race with the first choice as the best bet. Why four horses? Coz maybe they don’t have balls big enough to stake their rep on one horse alone.
race 1: 1,5,3,2
race 2: 3,8,7,2
race 3: 7,1,8,10
race 4: 1,4,5,3
race 5: 4,8,10,12
race 6: 1,6,3,10
race 7: 1,5,7,10
race 8: 1,8,9,11
How about let computers pick the horse race winners for ya? [e-Ponies]. Along the lines of ole BG’s CompuTrak, Liam Durbin has long programmed computers to pick horse winners. He feed computers past performance data, then tells his program how to evaluate the data. Anyway, his top choices for today’s Gulfstream Park races are:
race 1: 1 War Marshall 8-5
race 2: 3 Bay Marvel 7-2
race 3: 8 Defrere’s Vixen 6-1
race 4: 10 Diamond Blues 8-1
race 5: 10 One Smart Lady 4-1
race 6: 6 Ready Eddie 6-1
race 7: 1 Podgy 5-2
race 8: 1 Ecclesiastic 3-1
