King James? More Like King Joke
What the fuck is up with LeBron James?
We all heard how spectacular this young phenom is. He already has the biggest contract Michael Jordan’s shoe company has offered in it’s history.
Heck, he even has Michael Jordan’s hemisphere right now, INCLUDING Michael Jordan’s legendary No.23.
So where’s the other stuff that makes a LeBron synonymous to a Jordan?
Where are the buzzer beaters? The clutch-performances?
Heck, LeBron even passed up the Slam Dunk competition in the 2006 NBA All-Star weekend.
Cleveland’s All-Star forward has declined to participate in the dunk contest in all three of his seasons. He did, however, play on the sophomore team in last year’s Rookie Challenge and was a starter for the East in the All-Star Game.
He skipped the dunk contest his rookie year, partially because he was upset at not being picked as a reserve for the Eastern Conference’s All-Star team. - Yahoo News
Yes, LeBron James clearly has ascended into MJ status. One can even argue putting LeBron at the top of the basketball food chain. Yes, way on top of the Kobe’s and the T-Mac’s of the league.
However, unlike those guys, LeBron has never won a playoff game. Hell, LeBron wasn’t even in a playoff game yet, not once. This guy is indeed one of the best, but, he’s turning into a phenom without any great stories to lo and behold.
Sorry, no storybook endings for this kid, YET. Much like Peyton Manning in the National Football League (NFL).
Unlike the Kobe’s and the T-Mac’s of the league who shares his hemisphere, LeBron STILL buckles under pressure. He misses pressure-packed free throws, heck, he even throws away potential game-winning shots to an inexperienced Aleksander Pavlovic, who is scared shit of taking any clutch jumpers.
But STILL, the media LOVES him.
And quite frankly, LeBron is turning out to be one big and expensive spoiled brat. Who can get away with a gazillion dollar endorsements and can skip dunk contests? LeBron can, no questions asked.
Too bad Kobe keeps on getting the bitter end of the deal.
So will we see LeBron take part with ANY NBA All-Star Slam Dunk contest? Nope. Because LeBron’s world is too perfect and failure is not an option. In fact, LeBron is SCARED SHIT to fail. That’s why he passes the basketball to Pavlovic and let HIM be the one to fail. Miserably.
LeBron James will be participating in the 2006 Playstation Skills Challenge. As of press time, he is a 7/2 favorite to win. Log on to Bodog for more on LeBron’s odds as well as his opponents’ like Chris Paul, Steve Nash and Dwyane Wade.

I was just reading your article and you sound ridiculous. 1st off LeBron and Michael are two different players. Michael was solely concentrating on scoring his first couple of years in the league. He could not play with his teammates and get them involved. LeBron on the other hand has a game that’s possesses all the scoring abilities that Jordan possessed with the size and vision of Magic Johnson. So no there will not be the same buzzer beaters that you seek. The person you have him confused with is Kobe Bryant. He most closely compares with MJ. Know you basketball history before you start making wild comparisons.
