The Best of the Best in NFL Football After Week 2
Now that the new NFL Football season is underway, let’s take a look at some of the teams who are doing good, and some teams who SUCK.
The Indianapolis Colts, just like the last NFL Football season, are starting on fire. They are currently 2-0 right now and with the way these guys are playing, they might as well make a run for that ‘’perfect season’’ again. I wouldn’t count on them to win it all at Super Bowl XLI in Miami, Florida though.
The Seattle Seahawks are hurting but they STILL remain one of the tougher teams in the league. Running back and last year’s MVP, Shaun Alexander, is having some problems with injuries two weeks into the season (Hmm… Did the infamous Madden Curse struck again?) but franchise QB Matt Hasselbeck is just doing fine without him.
Besides, Deion Branch is coming. Well, he may not be a franchise wide receiver but Hasselbeck will certainly like having a guy of Deion’s caliber running routes for him.
Now here’s a guy in Miami claiming he’s the best in the world without doing anything that can back that up. (And I’m not even talking about Dwyane Wade here…) Daunte Culpepper, when he joined the Miami Dolphins, generated that much hype and anticipation that the Dolphins were deemed as the ones who’ll challenge the Patriots in the AFC East and make a run at the Super Bowl.
With an 0-2 start, that’s almost as believable as Shaquille O’Neal going on a diet.
In a desperate attempt to get the bias out of this story, I have to include MY Oakland Raiders in this part of the article where we talk about shitty teams. Sadly, the Oakland Raiders are the shittiest of them all.
First, we have last season’s receiving yards leader having tantrums then we lose the goddamn starting QB for two to three weeks. The bye week in Week 3 couldn’t have come any sooner. Just give Jerry porter what he wants and trade Aaron Brooks away. Goddammit.
