The Week that was in NFL Football
Yep, NFL Week 15 is over, THAT means we have only two more weeks left before the playoffs explode.
As we take one step closer towards the NFL post-season, and another step closer in ending what was an awesome NFL Football season, (Oh no! Say it ain’t so!) let’s take a look at some of the big names and brightest stars that made this week of NFL Football THAT special.
Of course, who could forget the stellar performance Michael Vick had last Saturday night?
Michael Vick and his Atlanta Falcons lost to the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday
Night Football but in a game where Michael Vick became the all-time rushing leader for a quarterback in NFL Football history, Vick’s game last Saturday certainly deserves the mention.
Michael Vick threw for 237 yards and four touchdowns against the Cowboys. Vick also carried eight times for 56 yards. With 990 rushing yards and 19 passing TDs this season, he has been a top-five fantasy QB.
Of course, as always, LaDanian Tomlinson had another huge week. LaDanian didn’t have those huge multiple TD-games last Sunday but what he did have was a game where he rushed for a season-high, 199 yards.
Jeezuschrist, can somebody ever stop this plowing machine?
Frank Gore had a big game last Thursday when his San Francisco 49ers faced-off with the Seattle Seahawks for Thursday Night Football. In case you don’t know it yet, the guy has now rushed for a grand total of 1,491 yards this season and he hasn’t shown signs of slowing down yet.
Hell, he had 178 rushing / receiving yards yards against the Seattle Seahawks Thursday night and I got to tell you, you got to have this guy in your fantasy team next season.
