Top 10 Sexiest Women of Tennis Part 3 of 4

Finally, it’s back.

After days apart from our top ten tennis divas to make way for the highly anticipated Super Bowl XL, it’s time once again to resume our countdown to the most drop-dead gorgeous sex goddesses of the tennis courts.

And quite frankly, it’s about time.

So far, our list looks like so:

10. Nicole Vaidisova

9. Shahar Peer

8. Caroline Wozniacki

7. Sania Mirza

6. Ana Ivanovic

5. Karolina Sprem

… And now this four-part excuse to put boobies and sweet asses on our pages continue at No.4 with my personal favorite who just made her comeback this year, the lovely Ms. Martina Hingis.

Martina Hingis is a former World No.1 ranked tennis goddess from Switzerland. Hingis, born September 30, 1980 in Kosice, Czechoslovakia (now simply known as Slovakia because the place is just too damn hard to spell out) has already won five Grand Slam singles titles, three Australian Open championships, one Wimbledon title and one US Open Grand Slam title.

She has also won nine Grand Slam women’s doubles titles, and in 1998 captured all four Grand Slam women’s doubles crowns. She set a series of ”youngest-ever” records, before ankle-ligament injuries and the necessary surgery in both of her ankles forced her to withdraw from pro tennis at the relatively young age of 22.

After several surgeries, Martina Hingis returned to the tennis courts on January 6, 2006 to start the new year. And boy, did it made my year already.

It’s just a matter of time before Martina Hingis, the proverbial queen of tennis, returns to her throne again.

At No.3 is Ashley Harkleroad, an American tennis player born May 2, 1985, in Rossville, Georgia.

Harkleroad reached a career-high ranking of No. 39 on June 9, 2003. As of January 2006, she is ranked 107 in singles and 116 in doubles and her career prize money to date is $461,620.

Harkleroad turned pro on June 12, 2000. Her debut was at the ITF tournament in Largo, Florida in 1999. The following year she played her first tour qualifying in Miami and her first grand slam at the US Open.

In 2001, she debuted her tour at the same events while improving her status in the ITF circuit. 2002 saw her win her first tour matches, reaching the 2nd round at San Diego, Hawaii and Bratislava where she made her first doubles semi-final with partner Maria Emilia Salerni. She ended that year in the top 200 for the first time.

And finally, our first runner-up to our proverbial OddJack Sexiest Woman of Tennis, at No.2 is Daniela Hantuchova.

Daniela Hantuchova, born April 23, 1983 in Poprad, Slovakia, is a Slovak professional tennis player, coached by Nigel Sears. Her WTA Tour mentor in the Partners for Success program was Martina Navratilova, who was her doubles partner for a brief period in early 2005.

On January 30, 2006, she was ranked No.15 in the world in both singles and doubles.

Hantuchova has won one WTA singles tournament in 2002 at Indian Wells. Her best Grand Slam singles achievements were playing in the quarter finals in 2002 at Wimbledon and at the US Open, and in 2003 at the Australian Open.

So there you have it, the nine gorgeous ladies of tennis trailing only OddJack’s sexiest woman of the tennis courts. I guess you know by now who it is huh? Well, just keep your eyes glued on these pages because you ain’t seen nothing yet.
