USC Trojans STILL Confident in College Football
Nothing. Nothing can faze the confidence of the USC Trojans as far as NCAA College Football is concerned.
Yep, no matter how many Heisman Trophy winners these guys lose, well… TWO when we talk about the Trojans, they still think that a college football team going for the BCS Championship should go through them first.
Yep, no matter how many of their comrades graduate and join the professional ranks of NFL Football, coaches of these USC Trojans simply shrug it off and shout, ‘’NEXT!’’
Yep, no matter how bad the USC Trojans look this season, they still leave an onlooker in awe. Maybe these guys simply know what it takes to win eh? Or maybe they are just a bunch of egotistical sonsabitches who think they are God’s gift to football.
Well, judging by the way they plowed through the competition in recent years, who can blame them?
‘’We have the best players in the country,’’ USC Trojans tailback Michael Coleman reminded. ‘’When we open up with Arkansas everyone will see what kind of team we are.’’
Matt Leinart? Reggie Bush? Remember them? Heisman winners, since departed? Along with LenDale White, Darnell Bing, Winston Justice, Dominique Byrd, Frostee Rucker and Tautusi Lutui. All now wearing NFL uniforms.
And that means what, to the 2006 USC Trojans? A little less media attention. For now.
‘’Sometimes they outshine a lot of people,’’ USC Trojans senior receiver Chris McFoy said of former Heisman Trophy winners, Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush. ‘’It was always Reggie this or Matt that.’’
‘’Now it’s more ‘SC as a team.”’
The Trojans seem to be hinting strongly that a team without a superstar could be just as much trouble as the USC crews that won 34 consecutive games and a couple of national titles. Well, WITH a Matt Leinart and a Reggie Bush, they still lost to the Texas Longhorns in the championship game shootout last January.
I don’t know what these jerk-offs are trying to pull now.
