Don’t vote for LeBron James in 2007 ESPY Awards
Saturday, June 30th, 2007
On July 15, ESPN will announce their own ‘’best athlete awards'’ on TV and whatever you do, please don’t vote for LeBron James.
Obviously, I don’t like the guy one bit. Sorry LeBron fans, if Dwyane Wade was nominated in the 2007 ESPY Awards, I’d pick on him but since the sick fuck is not nominated this year, I’d just screw with my second least favorite athlete of all time. Yep, it’s LeBron.
LeBron James is one of the nominees for the ‘’best male athlete'’ category in the 2007 ESPY Awards. He’ll join the likes of golf icon Tiger Woods, tennis great Roger Federer, last season’s NFL MVP LaDainian Tomlinson and Super Bowl XLI champion Peyton Manning.
My vote? It’s gotta’ be Peyton Manning. Heck, he had a whopping 4,397 passing yards in the concluded 2006-07 NFL football season. He had 31 touchdowns with only nine interceptions. And to top it off, he led the Indianapolis Colts to the Super Bowl XLI title and was named Super Bowl MVP.
Unlike LeBron James who was swept by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2007 NBA Finals. He he…
Speaking of the San Antonio Spurs, the 2007 NBA champions are…

Is Adrian Sutil the anti Lewis Hamilton in F1?
Saturday, June 30th, 2007
Adrian who?
My sentiments exactly. But apparently, the Spyker team thinks so. He he… Obviously, these guys had waaay too much grass. Or they’re just utterly stupid.
The Spyker team, despite all their troubles in the 2007 F1 season, believes that Adrian Sutil will be Lewis Hamilton’s main competition. That is according to Spyker team boss Colin Kolles as he already looks forward to the future after the dismal performances his team has been having at the present.
Lewis Hamilton, who leads the F1 Drivers Championship from McLaren teammate Fernando Alonso by 10 points following his record-breaking start to the season, drove alongside Sutil for the ASM team in the Formula 3 Euroseries in 2005.
Adrian Sutil finished second then to his teammate that season, after Lewis Hamilton dominated by achieving a record-setting 15 race wins from 20 starts, compared to Sutil’s two victories.
Adrian Sutil, who spent 2006 racing in Japan and won the domestic Formula 3 Championship before joining up with Spyker, then known as Midland, first joined up with Kolles in 2004, driving for Kolles Racing, Germany’s most successful Formula 3 team.
Of course, that doesn’t mean shit in Formula One. But then again…

Thierry Henry dissed Arsenal, signs with Barcelona
Saturday, June 30th, 2007
After we heard Thierry Henry denied reports that he’ll be leaving Arsenal to sign with Barcelona FC, Henry signed with Barcelona FC.
Nyuk nyuk nyuk… Yep, Thierry Henry left Arsenal and the English Premiership to play for Barcelona in the Spanish La Liga. Thierry Henry now joins Brazil football demi-god Ronaldinho as they go for next season’s La Liga title.
Thierry Henry, wearing his new No.14 Barcelona FC jersey, already looked at home on the Nou Camp turf with about 30,000 fans giving the former Arsenal striker a hero’s welcome.
Hell, the support
Henry got from the Barca fans were even bigger than what Ronaldinho got four years ago when he made his Barca debut. Obviously, Henry sure was happy about it.
‘’It’s great to be here playing at Barcelona,'’ the former Arsenal captain, Thierry Henry, said in Catalan after he had greeted the ecstatic crowd and performed some ball-juggling tricks.
‘’I always said that if I ever leave Arsenal, it would be to play for Barcelona. It’s no disrespect to anybody, it’s my choice,'’ Henry told reporters earlier. ‘’The way Barcelona plays, the fans, just being here and…'’

Holy Crap! These morons wanna’ turn video gaming into some kind of professional sports league…
Saturday, June 30th, 2007
And that’s just one of the instances that says we NEED more stuff when there’s not much sports going on other than baseball.
Apparently, with the scarcity of sports these days, (it’s currently the offseason of the NFL and the NBA…) there are some people who eventually want to turn video gaming into a full-pledged professional sports league like NFL football. And they’re actually serious about it. He he…
DirecTV, with the successful transition of poker to the media phenomenon it is today, believes that video gaming has the potential to experience the same media attention that poker has a few years back.
With that said,
DirecTV launched its first professional video game league dubbed the Championship Gaming Series. And to make matters more interesting, it has a full season of international competitions just like poker has these days with the 2007 World Series of Poker.
‘’Poker tournaments had been on TV for decades but only became a huge television property a few years ago when they added the lipstick camera and commentators to talk viewers through the likely scenarios and tendencies of the players,'’ said Andy Reif, Commissioner for Championship Gaming Series and…

What happened in the 2007 NBA Draft?
Friday, June 29th, 2007
As expected, Greg Oden was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers as the overall No.1 pick while Kevin Durant went No.2 when Seattle drafted him.
Yep, former Ohio State Buckeyes dominant giant, Greg Oden, was the overall No.1 pick of the 2007 NBA Draft after the rebuilding Portland Trail Blazers franchise selected him to be their franchise player for the future.
The Blazers finally parted ways with Zach Randolph when the Blazers sent him to the New York Knicks.
Of course, the Blazers faithful was more than happy to welcome the former Ohio State standout. Probably adding more pressure on this year’s overall No.1 pick to perform.
‘’I was on the phone with the radio station back in Portland,'’ Greg Oden said. ‘’They said they stomped the floor like they won the NBA championship once they called my name.'’
Kevin Durant became a franchise player himself when the Seattle Supersonics traded Ray Allen to the Boston Celtics after drafting the Texas Longhorns superstar.
With Rashard Lewis on the verge of leaving Seattle to test the free agency market, the pressure is now on Kevin Durant to…

Do you know it’s the 2007 AFL Football Playoffs already?
Friday, June 29th, 2007
I didn’t, because I’m still mourning over this whole ‘’Chris Benoit death'’ shit.
No seriously, I am. But hey, football is in for another post-season action and we’re going to cover it (most of it anyway…) even if it is Arena Football. Watcha’ gonna’ do, we GOTS TO GET OUR FOOTBALL one way or another right? So here it is, the 2007 AFL football playoffs.
Just like what we have in the NFL football playoffs, there would be four teams with first round byes. The San Jose Sabercats, the Dallas Desperados, the Georgia Force and defending Arena Bowlchampions, Chicago Rush, will all take the first round off while the
other eight AFL football teams begin their 2007 AFL playoff campaign trying to get to the league’s biggest stage this year, Arena Bowl XXI. (Oh yeah, this entire football fiasco has been running for 21 years now…)
Starting off what would be a long weekend of Arena Football action, the Orlando Predators will take on the Philadelphia Soul on Friday to kick off the 2007 AFL football playoffs. Both organizations are happy to be in this year’s postseason battles despite not playing to the level many people expected them to be.
My pick? The Philadelphia Soul clearly has the edge since they have the defense capable of making the big plays. Besides, the Predators are finding a hard time finishing drives this season anyway.
On Saturday, the Columbus Destroyers will take on the…

Maria Sharapova and her swan dress at Wimbledon 2007
Friday, June 29th, 2007
Because of the way she captures the audience with those long legs of hers, anything she wears becomes sexy. Even a swan dress.
Yep, the 2007 Wimbledon Championships are underway and we’re back writing about Maria Sharapova again until she gets that cute little Russian ass of hers eliminated by mutants like Justine Henin or Serena Williams.
The hot and sexy Maria Sharapova kicked off her 2007 Wimbledon campaign with a win over a young, up and coming, tennis phenomenon from Taiwan, Yung-Jan Chan, during the first round of this year’s Wimby tourney.
It was 2004 when Maria Sharapova was an up and coming tennis star and made the loudest of noise by winning her first Wimbledon title by beating one of the sports’ more established stars then, Serena Williams.
The roles were reversed a couple of days ago as Sharapova, now an established tennis marketing superstar, faced off against the young Yung-Jan Chan as the tennis phenomenon from Taiwan looked to make a name for herself by beating one of the world’s most popular tennis names.
Sharapova denied Chan that…

Ferrari is being sabotaged… (Maybe that’s why they’ve been this pathetic in the 2007 F1 Season…)
Friday, June 29th, 2007
Yeah riiight…
Probably running out of excuses why they have been second fiddle to the two streaking McLaren - Mercedes machines of two-time defending F1 World Champion Fernando Alonso and new F1 phenomenon Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari is now saying they are being sabotaged by Nigel Stepney, their own head of performance development.
Yep, the Ferrari team has actually accused one of their own of sabotage after filing a formal complaint against the disgruntled Stepney. The Ferrari team has, however, refused to reveal the nature of their complaint. (Probably because they just want to have someone to blame their misfortunes on this 2007 F1 season…)
The Modena district attorney is now looking into the claims of the Ferrari team. Of course, you can’t blame Stepney for feeling like he’s at the heart of a ‘’dirty tactics campaign.'’
‘’I have confidence I’ll be cleared by the legal process that is now taking place,'’ Nigel Stepney said. ‘’It is just part of a dirty tricks campaign and everything is in the hands of my lawyer, so we’ll wait and see what happens.'’
‘’I'm on a planned holiday with Ash (his fiancee) and our baby. Why would anyone say I am not contactable? I booked the flights through the Ferrari travel office. They know where I am,'’ Nigel added after…

Who’ll be No.1 in the 2007 NBA Draft? Oden or Durant?
Thursday, June 28th, 2007
Yep, it’s all about those two as Greg Oden and Kevin Durant prepare for the NBA on Thursday.
The 2007 NBA Draft is on Thursday as Greg Oden and Kevin Durant will be facing-off on who will be selected as the overall No.1 pick. Oden is the more dominant type of player while Durant is the more versatile kind of athlete. Hmm… Tough choice eh?
Well, for what it’s worth, with the Portland Trailblazers winning the No.1 pick in the 2007 NBA Lottery, it sure looks like Greg Oden is the perfect choice.
After all, these guys already have the young and versatile forward LaMarcus Aldridge and adding a Duncan-like giant like Greg Oden seems the logical move.
Oden is a legit seven-footer with all the physical attributes to develop into a dominant NBA center. (The Blazers are hoping anyway…) Oden is a game-changer on defense with his ability to block shots and rebound. Surprisingly, he also runs the floor exceptionally well and plays with a demeanor like that of a Tim Duncan.
If the Blazers do take Greg Oden with the No.1 pick, Kevin Durant is definitely on his way to the Seattle Supersonics.
Kevin Durant is more like the do-it-all type player compared to…

Why did WWE star Chris Benoit killed himself?
Thursday, June 28th, 2007
How the hell should I know? Maybe he’s just tired of all that crap Vince McMahon has been doing lately.
For all ya’ll who don’t know it yet, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon faked his own death a couple of weeks ago when his limousine exploded on WWE’s flagship program, Monday Night RAW.
After that, in a stunning turn of events, Chris Benoit died FOR REAL. He he… For all of you non-wrestling fans, Benoit uses this catch-phrase that says ‘’Chris Benoit is FOR REAL,'’ every single time he gets the opportunity with a microphone. I guess Chris Benoit proved just that after Vinnie Mac faked his own death when he died… FOR REAL.
‘’Chris Benoit is FOR REAL.'’ He he… It does have an eerie feeling to it now ain’t it?
Chris Benoit was found dead together with his wife Nancy Daus and their son, Daniel, in their home at Fayetteville, Georgia. Investigators believe that Benoit strangled his wife to death Friday, smothered his own son with a pillow Saturday and then hanged himself Sunday.
Jeez… And to think Chris Benoit was being portrayed in the WWE as a goddamn goodie goodie superhero. Hmm… I wonder what John Cena does during…
