Lewis Hamilton F1 Rookie Year the Movie?
Friday, September 28th, 2007
Yep, that’s what they’re saying within the McLaren camp these days.
McLaren big boss, Ron Dennis, after all the things that virtually fucked ‘em up this 2007 F1 season, found time to still be amazed by his rookie driver, Lewis Hamilton. After all, he does lead this year’s championship standings right?
The McLaren - Mercedes big boss admitted that he too is amazed by the sudden rise of his young driver, Lewis Hamilton, considering the fact that he is still on his very first season in Formula One and yet, he is already leading the chase for the world title.
Mercedes Motorsport chief Norbert Haug is so impressed with Lewis Hamilton that he says Hamilton’s rookie season can already be turned into movie. After all, his story this 2007 F1 season is almost straight from a Hollywood script.
Get this picture, the pressure is on Lewis Hamilton to win the title as a rookie while his teammate, the defending two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso closes in on him by two points with just three more races to go. The defending champion is not amused by his shocking debut and the team is divided between…

Frank Gore is Upset and he’ll take it out on Seattle
Friday, September 28th, 2007
And in case you missed the last three weeks of football, you don’t want to piss this guy off this year.
I know it’s still too early to say but I have a feeling this 2007-08 NFL football season is the season Frank Gore becomes, if not the best, one of the top running backs to ever play on the 100-yard NFL football field.
I mean this guy has just been big for the San Francisco 49ers since he made his debut last season. After a disappointing year last time, they are on quite a decent 2-1 start, that’s despite the fact that they still have a retarded quarterback like Alex Smith starting games for them.
Yeah sure, Frank Gore is still yet to have his first breakout game of the 2007-08 NFL football season. But can you imagine what the Niners would be like without him? Jeez… These guys from San Francisco could very well be looking at a miserable 0-3 start instead of a decent 2-1 and that’s the truth.
Without Frank Gore, the San Francisco 49ers offense will just collapse. We know it. Gore knows it. And yes, Gore is pissed about it.
‘’We won two games and the offense has done nothing,'’ Frank Gore said. ‘’We just have to start making plays. Running the…'’

2007 NCAA College Football Week 5 Betting Picks
Thursday, September 27th, 2007
It’s Week 5 and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish haven’t won anything whatsoever yet.
And as much as we would just love to dwell into that more, we know that the 2007 NCAA college football season does not revolve around the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. (Or any Irish whatsoever…)
That means one thing and one thing only, it’s time for your weekly dose of picks for Week No.5 in the 2007 NCAA college football season. (I know that’s a rather weak way to introduce this article to ya’ll but hey, you don’t have much of a choice anyway especially if you’re still reading this…)
Week 5 kicks off Thursday when the Memphis Tigers take on the Arkansas State Indians before the Southern Miss Golden Eagles take on the explosive Boise State Broncos.
Both Memphis and Arkansas State are at a 1-2 start to the season and would love nothing more but to even things up this Thursday. Arkansas State is 1-0 at home before they host the Tigers on Thursday, who by the way, are 0-1 on the road.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see who’ll win this one.
As for the Golden Eagles - Broncos game, the Golden Eagles will try to…

The Favorites to win the 2007 Breeders’ Cup Classic
Thursday, September 27th, 2007
As of press time, we’re still a month away from the Breeders’ Cup.
On October 26-27, the 2007 Breeders’ Cup World Thoroughbred Championships will commence and without any real stuff worth writing about heading for October’s biggest horse racing affair, let’s just have the favorites to win the damn thing here shall we?
First, Street Sense is one of them favorites to win the Breeders’ Cup Classic. Street has now run two monster races going Polytrack-to-dirt in last fall’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile and the concluded Kentucky Derby.
Street Sense has already secured Grade I breeding credentials, matching up with the elite of the division. Street’s ‘’Breeders’ Cup appetizer,'’ if you will, is the fact that the colt can run over a forgiving and stamina-building Poltrack.
Curlin, on the other hand, is also in the thick of things heading to the 2007 Breeders’ Cup Classic. Of course, Curlin is best known for his performance at the Preakness Stakes but to think that the Preakness would be the last thing this horse can win would just not be smart.
Any Given Saturday is also one of those…

Bears sack Rex Grossman, will start Brian Griese Sunday
Thursday, September 27th, 2007
I guess we have seen the last of Rex Grossman fumbling those footballs eh?
As the 2007-08 NFL football season grows a month-old, the Chicago Bears are at a miserable 1-2 start. And probably what’s even worse is the fact that a pathetic team like the Detroit Lions are holding a one-game advantage over the ‘’monsters of the midway,'’ not to mention currently being bitch-slapped by a 37-year-old Green Bay Packer in the standings.
All of Chicago’s troubles this season is primarily because of the ‘’stellar'’ play of their young and pathetic quarterback, Rex Grossman.
Grossman is the second worst-ranked QB in the NFL today, next only to Minnesota’s Tarvaris Jackson. He also leads the league in interceptions thrown while becoming one of the leaders in quarterbacks getting sacked this year.
Last Wednesday, the Chicago Bears have finally taken a step that they’re hoping will carry them over the hump. Bears head coach Lovie Smith decided to sack Grossman and start veteran quarterback Brian Griese for their match-up with NFC North rivals, Lions, at Detroit on Sunday.
Surprisingly, Rex Grossman was surprised. He he… Can you imagine? The guy was…

Barry Bonds 756th home run ball will have an asterisk in the Hall of Fame, thanks to Marc Ecko
Thursday, September 27th, 2007
To say that Barry Bonds had a somewhat disappointing week could very well be an understatement.
After he played his last home game in San Francisco as a member of the San Francisco Giants this 2007 MLB baseball season, (yes, apparently, the Giants are kicking him out of the team…) his record-breaking 756th home run will be branded with an asterisk and sent to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Thanks of course to the man who bought the record-breaking baseball from an online auction. That’s fashion designer Marc Ecko.
In case you didn’t know, Marc Ecko had an online poll that lets people vote on what’s he suppose to do with Bonds’ ball. The result could very well irritate Bonds all the more.
Ecko gave his site’s viewers three options; give it to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, brand it with an asterisk before sending it to Cooperstown and last but not the least, just blast the damn thing to outer space.
The asterisk won, much to the dismay of…

Bears thinking about dumping Grossman on Wednesday
Tuesday, September 25th, 2007
Yep, in perhaps something that always happens to the Bears every single year, they’re thinking about dumping Grossman again.
On Wednesday, the Chicago Bears could have a new quarterback starting for them when they take on the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Apparently, they’re sick of all the sacks and the interceptions this 2007-08 NFL football season but for the rest of us, we know they’re just sick of Rex Grossman.
As most of us probably expected, Chicago Bears quarterback Rex Grossman STILL suck. He he… There’s no better way to say that. Grossman ranks second only to Minnesota’s Tarvaris Jackson for the worst quarterback in all of football.
Rex Grossman is also one of
the leading QBs who always get their asses sacked this season, not to mention leading the league in interceptions after only three weeks of NFL football. He he… How much worse can this guy get eh?
Apparently, the Chicago Bears have no plans of finding out. Bears head coach Lovie Smith, after standing by his pathetic quarterback for most of last season’s Super Bowl campaign, is finally ready to put Grossman out. On Wednesday, Smith told the media that they’ll find out who’ll be starting where.
‘’Will Rex Grossman start Sunday?'’ Bears head coach Lovie Smith asked on Monday, repeating a question the media can’t seem to…

Unlike O.J. Simpson, Mike Tyson pleads Guilty
Tuesday, September 25th, 2007
And no, Tyson didn’t try to steal some sports memorabilia after claiming it his.
Yep, with the rest of the sporting world probably still buzzing about this entire O.J. Simpson fiasco, it was Tyson’s turn in court as he pleaded guilty to charges of drug possession and driving under the influence.
Now 41 years old, ‘’Iron'’ Mike Tyson was pulled over by officers last December 29 for driving like a drunken bastard.
And guess what, Tyson was
indeed a drunken bastard after the police found the former heavyweight champion of the world under the influence of alcohol and cocaine.
Jeez… Talk about a wise-ass decision to go behind the wheel eh?
For what it’s worth, Mike Tyson didn’t gave the court a hard time, pleading guilty as charged right from the get-go. (Unfortunately denying us of the same sick kind of fun we had with the entire O.J. Simpson trial… Hee hee…)
‘’I had possession of cocaine, and I drove under the influence,'’ Mike Tyson told…

Barrera to knock the Duck Fetus out of Manny Pacquiao
Tuesday, September 25th, 2007
Heeere we go again… Another chapter in the life of that duck-eating phenomenon known as Manny Pacquiao.
For all ya’ll who didn’t now, or just blinded by the shit-load of stuff we get from the 2007-08 NFL football season every single week, Marco Antonio Barrera and Manny Pacquiao will resume their rivalry that started way back in 2003.
On October 6, round 2 of this Barrera - Pacquiao saga will be fought for the super featherweight championship of the world. (Forgive us, we’re STILL trying to hype you up for this one…)
It was in 2003 when Manny Pacquiao probably got lucky (I just know somebody will contest that already…) and won the featherweight title from Marco Antonio Barrera.
It was at that instant when everybody, that includes yours truly, started getting bombarded by all these silly stuff about how Manny Pacquiao is the ‘’best pound for pound fighter in the world'’ or why he is the most exciting fighter in boxing today.
Puh-lease… I know Manny Pacquiao won a few title fights already but…

Oklahoma State Cowboys coach Mike Gundy spoons with his players this 2007 NCAA College Football Season
Tuesday, September 25th, 2007
A little love from your coach wouldn’t hurt but if it becomes like what some of us witnessed a few days ago, then it starts to become scary.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys, aside from lurking behind the shadows of the powerhouse Sooners, are struggling somewhat at a 2-2 pace this 2007-08 NCAA college football season.
And to make things worse for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, the media probably just hate their guts now after head coach Mike Gundy simply DISSED an innocent columnist named Jenni Carlson.
For all ya’ll who didn’t
know, Oklahoma State Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy was furious at an article written by Carlson that basically talked about how pathetic Bobby Reid was this season, giving the Cowboys no choice but to replace him in the starting QB spot.
It was last Saturday, after these Cowboys beat the Texas Tech Red Raiders, 49-45. Instead of talking about how important that win was to put them at an even 2-2 record, Mike Gundy started dissing a column from ‘The Oklahoman’ where speculations of why Bobby Reid was…
