Cavaliers to win Game 3 of 2007 NBA Finals over Spurs

Um… NO. I’m not starting to like these pathetic Cavaliers one bit.

But being the ”good” NBA basketball team that they say they are, they have to win Game 3. And with the wretched memories of Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals still flashing in my head, yeah, I’m expecting LeBron James to get Cleveland back to this seven-game series.

In case you missed Game 5 of the East finals, that’s when LeBron James just refused to lose to the Detroit Pistons to take the commanding 3-2 lead that eventually gave them the trip to the 2007 NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs.

lebron_james2.jpgAnd of course, as one-sided as this seven-game NBA Finals series is, the Cleveland Cavaliers have to win at one point and I reckon it will be this Tuesday. Hell, for what it’s worth, the Cavs DID managed to come back after being down by a gazillion points in Game 2. They still lost to San Antonio, 103-92, but if you saw the game last Sunday, it could’ve been A LOT worse.

The San Antonio Spurs literally trashed the Cleveland Cavaliers in the third quarter. They built a commanding 29-point lead in the third that left our Lord God and Savior, LeBron James, biting off the rest of his nails from his fingers.

The Spurs relaxed in the fourth and that’s when LeBron James and the rest of the Cleveland Cavaliers started their comeback. The only problem there was, just when the Cavs were only down by single-digits, Spurs head coach Greg Popovich had his three-headed monster back on the floor.

Speaking off, Tony Parker led the Spurs with 30 points, followed by Manu Ginobili who scored 25 and Tim Duncan with 23. Yep, it was that ridiculous for these guys.

Game 3 is this Tuesday at the Quicken Loans Arena as the 2007 NBA Finals head for Cleveland for games 3, 4 and 5. Yeah of course, the San Antonio Spurs will, without a shadow of a doubt, win this one-sided, boring – without – Detroit – series, but if the Cavaliers have to win one measly game, it will be this Tuesday.

Can the Cleveland Cavaliers win Game 3 over the San Antonio Spurs and cut their series lead to 2-1 in the 2007 NBA Finals? AcesAce Sportsbook has the odds.

San Antonio Spurs -1.5

Cleveland Cavaliers +1.5

Did you say the CLEVELAND CAVALIERS will win GAME 3? What happened to ya dude? Shame, man, shame! Damn, betting on the San Antonio Spurs is like printing yer own money – nobody need s no stinking NBA sports betting tips with a matchup like SPURS vs CAVALIERS.

So ya think LEBRON will finally unleash all he’s got and them CAVALIERS win GAME 4? Ya think?

    This is a SWEEPER man!

He he… Yeah, it’s a shame we have yet another boring NBA Finals series. Did you know that this series ranks second among the lowest scoring NBA Finals series of all time? What a waste of TV time…

The Cavaliers have no business being in the same court as the Spurs. I guess I was just hoping for the Cavaliers to give us a reason to watch this thing back in Game 3.

Well, I’m still the one who picked Rags to Riches to win the Belmont Stakes and got it right. You can remember me with that. And in case you’re wondering, I won’t be picking the Cavaliers in Game 4.

    Or will I? He he…
