Detroit Pistons to be Chicago BULL-Dozers Game 2
I guess the Chicago Bulls found out in Game 1 that the Detroit Pistons are definitely NOT the stupid and pathetic Miami Heat.
In what will definitely be the theme of this second-round Eastern Conference playoff series between the Detroit Pistons and the Chicago Bulls, my boys jumped on Chicago right from the get-go to pull away with a convincing 95-69 blowout in Game 1.
It was big brother versus little brother as the Pistons looked like they were holding their hands on the little Bulls’ foreheads, laughing while Ben Gordon and company swatted at the air. He he… Oh yeah, the Pistons are facing yet another one of their prodigal sons in the 2007 NBA Playoffs and it looks like the Pistons STILL won’t show any mercy whatsoever. Grant Hill was Detroit’s first prey in the first round, sweeping Hill’s team out of the postseason in humiliating fashion.
Now, it’s Ben Wallace. And yeah, I know for sure that the Pistons won’t give Big Ben any opportunity to catch his breath just because he was once the epicenter of Detroit’s fabled defense.
The Chicago Bulls were humbled in Game 1 at the Palace of Auburn Hills after their shocking SWEEP of the stupid and pathetic Miami Heat. Pistons forward Chris Webber was asked if the young Bulls was a good thing for Chicago against Miami in the first round and a bad thing against Detroit in the second.
Chris Webber simply said, ”NO. We’re not Miami.”
Nicely put Mr. C-Webb. Indeed, the Detroit Pistons are not the Miami Heat. Heck, putting the Pistons in the SAME sentence as those fags is not even fair.
The Detroit Pistons are not Miami. Miami was old and out of shape, after winning the title last season, (which they stole from the Mavericks STILL…) the Heat seemed to forsake pick-and-rolls for pecan rolls. The Bulls were a bad matchup for the Heat, which had nobody to guard Luol Deng and lacked the perimeter depth and quickness to keep up with Chicago.
The Pistons are simply… different.
Can the Detroit Pistons beat the Chicago Bulls in Game 2 of their second round best-of-seven series? Here are the odds from Bodog:
Detroit Pistons -5 ½ (-105)
Chicago Bulls +5 ½ (-115)
