And while most of us will just be glued to that epic first meeting between LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony in the NBA this season, the Seattle Seahawks will probably be just whooping 49ers ass. Again.

The last time the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers faced each other, Niners QB Alex Smith was blindsided by Seahawks defensive tackle Rocky Bernard that gave Smith a rather painful separated right shoulder injury that took him out for two games before his team lost six straight.

Now that Alex Smith is bound to face the same Seahawks defense, the San Francisco 49ers quarterback claims he has no ill feelings towards the Seahawks.

‘’It’s a rough game,'’ he said. ‘’You’re going to have injuries, things like that are going to happen. In no way do I think it was malicious at all. He had a shot at me, and he took it.'’

Alex Smith said his shoulder feels much better, but he’s coming off a 17-for-38, three-interception performance that has his coach, Mike Nolan, trying to identify Smith’s strengths and weaknesses.

Smith was the No. 1 overall draft pick in 2005 NFL draft but has yet to live up to that potential and his own expectations.

‘’Coming into the season I thought he was ahead of where he has been right now,'’ San Francisco 49ers head coach Mike Nolan said. ‘’I thought he would do a better job up to this point. His accuracy has been a little off.'’

Oops… You don’t want the Seahawks to hear all that stuff now right?
