THUMBS UP for Peyton Manning at Super Bowl XLI?

For the Indianapolis Colts’ sake, let’s sure hope so.

Peyton Manning finally defeated his rival, Tom Brady, in the playoffs after leading his Indianapolis Colts over Brady’s New England Patriots, 38-34, to advance to Super Bowl XLI at Miami, Florida.

However, that win came with a price as we saw Peyton Manning jam his right thumb against the helmet of one his Colts teammates. Uh oh… Although the injury did not appear to be that bad, we saw something later in that fateful game that suggested Manning was indeed in a lot pain.

Well, Peyton DID played through the injury, leading the Indianapolis Colts to that final drive that earned them seven more points and a four-point cushion that will be enough for the Super Bowl invite. The question now is, how’s Manning’s thumb now?

Will it be a thumbs up for Peyton Manning when it’s time to play the biggest game of the year?

Peyton Manning has missed one play due to injury during his career, and that number is not expected to increase come Feb.4. The Indianapolis Colts quarterback gave a thumbs up, but little more, regarding his injured right thumb as the team began preparation for its date with the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI.

How’s the digit that he injured last weekend against New England?

‘’It’s like I said earlier, I attended the Bill Belichick school (about) discussing injuries,'’ Peyton Manning said, referring to the Patriots coach who seldom gets specific his team’s about injuries. ‘’There’s my answer.'’

Will you practice?

‘’Yeah, I will,'’ Manning added.

Can Peyton Manning lead the Indianapolis Colts to win Super Bowl XLI? Who will win Super Bowl XLI at Miami, Florida? Bodog has the outright odds on that one.

Indianapolis Colts 11/2

Chicago Bears 15/1
