2008 NCAA College Football Week 15 Betting Picks
The 15th week of college football is not all about this big game between Alabama and Florida.
And while that is not entirely true, probably, Week 15 of the 2008 NCAA college football season continues this weekend with some good games left aside from that ‘Bama-Florida game that has everybody hyped up for the weekend.
First, we have the No.2 Oklahoma Sooners looking to avoid a loss to the No.9 Missouri Tigers and stay in the No.2 spot this Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium. A loss will be disruptive to their plans of a BCS appearance next year. Oklahoma (11-1, 7-1) beat out Texas and Texas Tech for a spot in Saturday’s game. They have the opportunity to win a third consecutive Big 12 title game and of course, a spot in the BCS championship game. Oklahoma, Texas and Texas Tech all finished tied for first in the South Division with the Sooners advancing on the conference’s fifth tiebreaker.
The Missouri Tigers (9-3, 5-3) can knock the Sooners out of a potential trip to the BCS title game with a win. Problem is. They’ve only won once in the past 19 meetings with the Sooners.
Next, we have Southern-Cal. After winning their eighth straight game and seeing their top challenger for the conference crown fall last week, the fifth-ranked USC Trojans look to clinch the Pac-10 championship and a trip to the Rose Bowl (again…) when they visit crosstown rival UCLA on Saturday.
USC (10-1, 7-1) lost its conference opener to Oregon State on Sept. 25, an inauspicious start to the Trojans’ defense after their six-year conference title run. Since then, however, the Trojans have won eight straight games, including seven within the conference, by an average of 33.1 points.
This is a bad time for the UCLA Bruins to come across these guys from California.
Next, we have a classic rivalry for you as the Navy Midshipmen play the Army Black Knights in a face-off held annually between the two rivals. The Midshipmen are trying to win their sixth straight and their 10th in the last 12 games against the Army. They are also going for their sixth straight Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy and their 13th win in a row in their series with the Army and the Air Force.
Of course, this probably don’t mean shit to those boys from Iraq.

Alabama Crimson Tide 5.50
