Although normally, we wouldn’t give a rat’s ass who wins these tennis tournaments, especially if you have a Super Bowl XLII ticket in hand, itching to see who wins what should now be America’s national sport. But then again, Maria Sharapova will play in the final, and that’s reason enough to be excited about the sport.
Yep, the hot and sexy Maria Sharapova will play in the final match of the Australian Open in Melbourne, the first Grand Slam tennis tournament of the calendar year. And while watching Sharapova in the final is already awesome, it gets better, as she will be playing the equally hot Ana Ivanovic. Whew!

2008 WTA Australian Open tennis tournament just saw it’s hot-meter, if you will, go through the roof, after learning that No.5 seed Maria Sharapova and No.4 seed Ana Ivanovic will be playing for the 2008 Australian Open title. That means you’ll see two of the hottest panties in sports dance around in one tennis court, giving you with something else worth watching before the big football game on February 3.
Maria Sharapova earned her ticket to the final match in Melbourne after mercilessly crushing Jelena Jankovic, 6-3, 6-1. Sharapova has just been so dominant in Melbourne and after shocking world No.1 Justine Henin, everybody knew then that this chick is the one to beat.
Hell, Jelena Jankovic even tried to win Sharapova’s sympathy, asking for a medical timeout after she was seen favoring her back in the middle of what has been a ‘’Sharapova kicking her ass'’ show. Sharapova didn’t fell for it though, as the lovely Russian sex goddess sent her home quickly, winning in straight sets, to give Jankovic more than enough time to nurse that back.
Ana Ivanovic earned an Australian Open final match with our favorite tennis player after disposing Daniela Hantuchova. (Who also has one of the cutest asses you’ll see on a tennis court…) Hantuchova was making her first Grand Slam semifinals appearance then, unfortunately for her, that’s all there is to it.
