Brett Favre tells why he’s retiring from NFL Football

He says he can no longer stand the foul stench of head coach Mike McCarthy’s farts.

NAH. Just kidding. But wouldn’t it be awesome if that’s the reason why Brett Favre is retiring from NFL football? He he… Oh yeah, he’s retiring. And he told the media why in a press conference where he cried like a baby while keeping himself together to not look as pathetic as Dwyane Wade when Shane Battier destroyed his shoulder a year ago.

The Green Bay Packers star told the media that he no longer wants to play football at this point of his life. I guess losing to a retard like Eli Manning in an NFC championship game will do that to a man.

Brett Favre”I know I can play but I don’t think I want to,” Brett Favre said. ”It’s been a great career for me, but it’s over. As they say, all good things must come to an end, I look forward to whatever the future may hold for me.”

A hundred bucks say he’ll be begging coach Mike McCarthy to get his old job back after watching Aaron Rodgers suck BAD in the coming 2008-09 NFL football season.

”I promised I wouldn’t get emotional,” he said, starting to cry now. ”I’ve watched hundreds of players retire and you wonder what that would be like. You think you’re prepared…”

”I hope that with every penny they’ve spent on me, they know it was money well spent. It wasn’t about the money or fame or records. I hear people talk about your accomplishments and things. It was never my accomplishments, it was our accomplishments.”

”I’m going out on top. Believe me, I could care less what other people think. It’s what I think, and I’m going out on top.”

Rumors have it that Favre really REALLY wanted to have Randy Moss as his wide receiver next season. But after the Green Bay Packers failed to sign Moss, resigning with the New England Patriots instead, RETIREMENT suddenly came out of Favre’s mouth.

Hmm… All of a sudden, everybody hates the New England Patriots again.

Who will win Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, Florida? Sportsbetting.com has the very VERY early odds on that one people.

New York Giants 12-1

New England Patriots 5-2
