Dolphins trade Jason Taylor to the Washington Redskins

WOAH WOAH WOAH… This should be the biggest trade of the NFL offseason.

As the 2008-09 NFL football season draws near, we already have the biggest trade made even before teams start playing with that pigskin. Ladies and gentlemen, Jason Taylor was finally SAVED from a shithole like Miami and will now play for the nation’s capital, Washington.

You read it, Jason Taylor was traded by the Miami Dolphins to the Washington Redskins after the Redskins lost defensive end Phillip Daniels for the rest of the year and desperately needed to fill the void he left.

With Jason Taylor, not only has Jason Taylorthe Washington Redskins fill that void, they probably became instant title contenders in the process. Of course, it is yet to be seen if Taylor can really carry the Redskins over the hump but as far as the Redskins organization is concerned, Jason Taylor is a ‘’Taylor-made fit.'’

‘’We’re fortunate there was a guy that caliber on the market when somebody got hurt,'’ Washington Redskins executive vice president Vinny Cerrato said. ‘’Normally, in most years, there’s not a guy of that caliber on the market.'’

Why was this guy readily available for the Redskins? EASY. Taylor wanted to be saved from the shithole that is Miami and when he finally saw his chance, he wasted no time in grabbing that opportunity.

Taylor asked the Miami Dolphins to be traded to a contender at the beginning of the offseason. It also didn’t matter to him if Bill Parcells was now running the show there. You see, as soon as Parcells took over the team, Taylor made sure he was nowhere in sight by competing in ABC’s ‘’Dancing With The Stars.'’

Now that’s a way to get your message heard eh?

‘’I love Miami [and] will always cherish my 11 years with the Dolphins,'’ Jason Taylor said in a statement. ‘’Having said that, I’m looking forward to meeting with Mr. Snyder and getting to know my new coaches and teammates. I’m just proud to be representing our nation’s capital as a Redskin.'’

Now that he’s out of that shithole that is Miami, he’ll be proud to be ANYWHERE.
