More Transfer Rumors in International Football people, the latest? Chelsea FC wants AC Milan star Kaka
It never ends.
It seems Chelsea too wants to improve their roster prior to the start of the football season and with the brand new 2008-09 English Premier League upon us, they already have their eyes set on one player. Kaka.
You read it, disappointed of failing to win the Premiership again after two seasons, rumors say that Chelsea FC wants Kaka to join them at Stamford Bridge to drastically improve their chances of winning the title snatched away from them by Man-U.
AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has confirmed that Chelsea FC do have an offer for the 2007 FIFA World Player of the Year Kaka, an offer they have already rejected. Hee hee…
However, despite the fact that AC Milan has already rejected what was dubbed as a massive offer from the English football giants, Kaka’s representatives said the player would be interested in a move to West London and play for Chelsea. Hmm…
Still, AC Milan dispels the rumors.
‘’It’s true that Chelsea made a conspicuous offer, but I will not say how much it was,'’ Adriano Galliani said. ‘’It is equally true that we said no. President Silvio Berlusconi rejected the chance to sell Kaka, just as he told Real Madrid no in 2001 for Andriy Shevchenko.'’
‘’Kaka is going nowhere and neither is Clarence Seedorf. (The guy Juventus wants…) The fans can sleep easy.'’
However, it seems Kaka is in fact entertaining the idea of playing for Chelsea. And with huge transfers like this one common to the sport of international football, how in the hell can AC Milan fans sleep easy?
‘’When I return to Italy I will know what’s going to happen, but at the moment nothing is certain,'’ Kaka said. ‘’There are two teams who are very interested in signing me, but now I do not want to talk about it.'’
‘’Until we return to Milan and know how things are, we cannot decide what happens with my future.'’
