NFL to Review mini-brawl between Patriots Tackle Matt Light and Dolphins Linebacker Channing Crowder

Honestly, this thing between Light and Crowder was unfortunate because it overshadows the kind of game Matt Cassel just had.

In perhaps the first controversial tussle of the 2008-09 NFL football season, Patriots tackle Matt Light and Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder looked like two bitches getting it on around a group of grown men in tights.

In the very same day when Matt Cassel had his second straight 400+ yard game to lead the New England Patriots to a 48-28 win in Miami, Light and Crowder got it on in, of all things, a field goal attempt when the game was virtually over.

The ‘’mini-brawl'’ occurred after Light Matt Light vs Channing Crowderblocked Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder on Pats teammate Stephen Gostkowski’s 30-yard field goal. Crowder’s helmet flew off before Light got Crowder’s dreadlocks and hit him three times on the head like a fagot.

Channing Crowder broke free and ran away like an eight-year-old little girl while smiling, probably to compensate for his manhood. Of course, both received personal foul penalties and were ejected from the game. STILL, both of them looked ridiculous while funny at the same time.

And as soon as Matt Light exited towards the tunnel, Crowder, who was exiting the same tunnel, raised his hands to elicit cheers from the Miami crowd. For some reason, since folks from Miami are fucking pathetic, they did. Go figure.

Crowder’s teammate Matt Roth thought Chowder got the raw deal since he was the one who got his dreadlocks pulled and almost got his head busted open by what looked like three right hooks from Light.

STILL, Gene Washington, the league’s director of football operations, will review the incident for potential disciplinary actions slapped on the two football players. League spokesman Greg Aiello said it is routine procedure for on-field fights, even if it looked more like a fight between two little girls.
