No New England Patriots will be at the 2008 NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii. Why? Ask the New York Giants…

I really do have a hunch that it probably has something to do with them losing at Super Bowl XLII last Sunday.

And in case you missed Super Bowl XLII last Sunday, the New York Giants pulled off one of the most miraculous runs ever to a Super Bowl title, starting 0-2 in the regular season before moving on to beat the undefeated New England Patriots, 17-14, with a go-ahead touchdown in the last two minutes to win the Super Bowl XLII title.

Yup, the New York Giants sure had THE scoring drive for the ages to give the once undefeated New England Patriots their first loss of the year and leave them hurting bad on the biggest stage in all of sports.

Tom BradyHell, that Super Bowl loss last Sunday was so much painful for the New England Patriots that they won’t be participating in the 2008 NFL Pro Bowl on February 10 in Honolulu, Hawaii. I guess they don’t want anything to do with football until August when the new NFL season kicks off again eh?

Two New England Patriots were invited at the Pro Bowl and both of them declined a day after they lost to the New York Giants in what should be the most tragic event that has happened in any sport, period.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, after throwing a league-record 50 touchdown passes in the regular season, was invited to the Pro Bowl and pulled out. Many speculated that Tom Brady won’t be at a hundred percent after the media saw him walking around with a protective boot two weeks before Super Bowl XLII.

After watching him get sacked time and time again, standing there inside the pocket without any mobility at all, I guess he was really hurting. Either that or the Patriots offensive line simply didn’t do shit. Cleveland Browns QB Derek Anderson will replace Brady for the AFC All-Stars.

Brady’s favorite target, Randy Moss, will miss the Pro Bowl too after choosing to decline the invite to Hawaii. Randy Moss, with Brady’s help, came up with a record as well, scoring 23 touchdowns for most TDs by a wideout in a season.

The disgruntled Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, Chad Johnson, will replace Randy Moss.
