De La Hoya to announce when will he retire Pacquiao
And probably how hard will he knock the duck fetus off Pacquiao’s irritating mustache as well.
You read it, it’s that time of the year when yours truly will again hope for a ‘’Manny Pacquiao‘’ retirement, praying for a boxing pro to finally put an end to this godforsaken joke that we all know has gone way waaay too far already.
On Thursday, the ‘’Golden Boy'’ Oscar De La Hoya will officially announce his scheduled bout with the third world moron on December 6. If De La Hoya pulls off a win over Pacman, that will be an early Christmas gift for people like me who loves ‘’real tactical boxing.'’
Top Rank promoter Bob Arum still
refuses to confirm what could be the biggest ass-kicking of a third world moron of the century. What he did told everybody is De La Hoya making a big announcement about who’s going to be his next opponent although we all know now that it’s going to be Pacquiao. Bob Arum, for some reason, is still promoting this third world joke from God knows where.
‘’We’ll know who is he is fighting tomorrow,'’ Bob Arum said from Youngstown, Ohio, where he was attending a promotional event for the Kelly Pavlik - Bernard Hopkins fight (go Hopkins go!) that he is co-promoting with De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions.
‘’I made a commitment that I wouldn’t say anything and that tomorrow there would be an announcement. I’m not allowed to make any comments. Everything will be clear on Thursday.'’
Pacquiao has a knack for scheduling bouts with boxers who are either old or retiring, we all saw that when Pacquiao beat a retiring Erik Morales, an aging Marco Antonio Barrera and barely coming up with a win over an older and slower Juan Manuel Marquez despite the fact that I clearly saw the older Mexican winning it.
This scheduled Oscar De La Hoya - Manny Pacquiao fight on December 6 Pacquiao’s people came up with is no different. De La Hoya has repeatedly made an announcement that this December fight would be the last bout of his storied career. STILL, this guy is Oscar FUCKING De La Hoya and if there’s one guy who can bitch-slap Pacquiao from his third world pedestal, the Golden Boy certainly still has the tools to be just that and save REAL boxing fans from that irritating mustache.
