Oscar De La Hoya to end Manny Pacquiao story

That’s this Saturday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

You read it, the ‘’Golden Boy'’ Oscar De La Hoya - ‘’Pacman'’ Manny Pacquiao fight is on this Saturday. Hopefully, Oscar will be the one who will finally save us from the third world moron bastardizing the sport of boxing the last few years.

And of all the fighters who tried in the past, ‘’the Golden Boy'’ Oscar De La Hoya is probably our best hope to accomplish the deed. After all, De La Hoya is stronger, bigger and the more experienced athlete. And while De La Hoya IS an athlete, Pacquiao simply isn’t.

But because this is the fight boxingManny Pacquiao fans have been clamoring for (since some of them probably feels this third world moron has come way too far already…) De La Hoya had to come down in weight just to adjust to the ‘’Pacman'’ Manny Pacquiao and make this fight possible, giving boxing fans hope that the sport can finally be saved in Las Vegas over the weekend.

De La Hoya had to go through this new diet that includes, of all things, kangaroo meat, just to give boxing fans some hope that the sport they love can finally be saved. And while Pacquiao and his people continue to go on and on how they will come in as the heavy underdog (probably to generate some fan base…) De La Hoya IS still the underdog, no matter what Pacquiao and his fans think.

You see, fighting a smaller opponent is a no-win situation. Aside from the fact that a bigger fighter like De La Hoya had to come down in weight, sacrificing power in the process, he has to meet a smaller fighter who not only has learned to put up some weight but now has even more power in those knuckles with the pounds he has put up.

Losing weight not only forces De La Hoya to lose some force from the way he punches, it also forces him to lose some stamina which is a dangerous thing to do when you’re fighting with a brawler like Pacquiao who will come at you like a crazed gorilla, throwing the scientific approach out the window.

So while Pacquiao and his people continue to go on and on how David (Pacquiao) will bring down Goliath (De La Hoya) I see it different. De La Hoya will save us from the notion that a third world moron like Manny Pacquiao is the best fighter in the world today. Pacquiao is not a great fighter and I’m hoping De La Hoya will make the rest of the world realize that.

You wet backs make me laugh. Most of you in the U.S. are in jail, are gangbangers, in mamacita porn, mowing my lawn or cleaning hotel toilets for a living. Mexicans in the U.S. are a fucking disease. I say shot all of them that try and run for the border, and I’m not talking about Taco Bell. Haha!

  • Hi! i Am pUrPLy tRoLL! Says:

  • Anya Says:

So… how do you explain De La Hoya throwing in the towel now? And him not throwing in the punches like he should? Is that still an excuse of giving Manny Pacquaio a chance?

…hehehe, i guess your plea will have just to wait…

  • J.J. Jack Says:

Yes, STRIFE, I guess my plea would have to wait. But since Pacquiao has to retire sometime, I guess boxing getting saved is only a matter of time.

I am really disappointed with the way De La Hoya fought last weekend, but I guess that’s what you get when you lose that much pounds. And for all ya’ll wondering, YES, all the pounds De La Hoya lost for this match WAS THE FACTOR. That’s why he got tired too quickly and just stood there for Pacquiao to run over.

And by the way, Fuck Beaners, I’m not Mexican. Margaret, my hat is cool.

See ya’ll again the next time I get the opportunity to bash your third world hero. Peace.

What are you talking about? Pacquiao saved boxing. He’s got the Pacific Rim, the U.S. AND Latin Americans rooting for him. If anything, he’s rejuvenated the sport where people talk about throwing matches and cheating. He wins with heart and doesn’t sell out for anyone just for a bigger payday. De La Hoya and his promotional company came looking for HIM! Not the other way around. When all is said and done Manny Pacquiao will go out a champion. He’s a quick footed, entertaining boxer to watch. He’s good for boxing and I’m glad he makes all you haters squirm when he proves you all wrong! Hope you didn’t lose too much money betting against him. :)

  • J.J. Jack Says:

Brother, you obviously have no idea how the business works. Pacquiao ditched Golden Boy promotions when he also signed with Bob Arum’s Top Rank for another contract, hoping he’ll be able to cash in on both, probably.

He ended up signing with Bob Arum for, yes, a BIGGER pay.

Of course. Isn’t the ravages of old age better revenge than any? LOL.

  • J.J. Jack Says:

    Amen to that brother.
