The Harvard Crimson battle the Columbia Lions in the second game. Harvard, down to a 3-7 record, tries to get a win over the 6-4 Lions. Crimson guard Jeremy Lin averages 12.8 ppg, 4.7 rpg and 3.4 apg, while Lions forward John Baumann averages 15.8 ppg, 6.8 rpg and 1.1 apg.
What we have next features a battle of colors, if you will, as the Dartmouth Big Green play the Cornell Big Red. Dartmouth tries to gain back to back wins against Cornell. Cornell has the best record in the IVY standings with a perfect 10-0 in the conference.
The Princeton Tigers try to bounce back from a setback they suffered last time as they play ball against the Brown Bears. The Bears currently hold the second spot with a 7-3 record in the Ivy League Standings while the Princeton Tigers are in the cellar with 2-7 record.
The St. Peter’s Peacock go up against the Rider Broncs in the 2008 NCAA men’s college basketball season. The Broncs are currently tied at first place with 11-5 in the 2008 MAAC Standings with Niagara. The Peacocks are at the bottom with 3-13.
The Niagara Purple Eagles will continue their hot start as they play the Siena Saints. Niagara escaped with a one-point win the last time out as they try to hold on to the top spot against Siena.
The Manhattan Jaspers play the Fairfield Stags at 7:30 p.m. in the 2008 NCAA men’s college basketball season. Manhattan Jaspers Antoine Pearson and Devon Austin will lead the team against Fairfield Stags Jonathan Han and Anthony Johnson.
The Iona Gaels try to redeem themselves against the Marist Red Foxes as both teams slug it out this Friday. Iona was demolished in their last game, while the Red Foxes also suffered the same outcome.
The Holy Cross Crusaders play the Army Black Knights Friday night in Black Knight territory. Holy Cross Crusaders Tim Clifford and Alex Vander Baan lead their team in scoring and rebounding respectively. While the Lehigh Mountain Hawks’ combination of Marquis Hall and Zahir Carrington will be a force to be reckon with for the home team.
The struggling Idaho Vandals, with a record of 3-10, visit the Hawaii Warriors. Idaho Vandals Jordan Brooks and Michael Crowell will try to contain the duo of Hawaii Warriors Matt Gibson and Bobby Nash.
The final game of the day features the Kennesaw State Owls versus the Mercer Bears. The Kennesaw State Owls and the Mercer Bears both have a 6-9 record.
