And here we though this thing between Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant is dead.

But after the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Boston Celtics, 4-2, in the recently concluded 2008 NBA Finals, Shaq can’t let this very opportune time to take a shot at his former teammate, pass.

He he… That’s right people, after four years, two teams and a championship ring, Shaquille O’Neal, now trying to salvage what’s left of his career with the Phoenix Suns, is still ripping Kobe Bryant. Now that Kobe is probably still reeling from missing out on the NBA title last week, Shaq couldn’t help but add insult to injury.

You see, the seven-foot monstrosity was in a nightclub last weekend doing some freestyle rap. And much to everybody’s surprise, his words all talked about one person and one person only, Kobe Bryant.

‘’You know how I be. Last week Kobe couldn’t do without me,'’ Shaq rapped, referring to the way Kobe failed to win the championship for the Los Angeles Lakers without his help.

Shaq and Kobe had three NBA world championships together in Los Angeles from 2001 to 2003. 2004 was the last year they played in Tinseltown together when they were beaten by the Detroit Pistons in five games for the championship. Shaq was traded to the Miami Heat after before getting his ass traded again to the Phoenix Suns.

Shaq won another championship with the Miami Heat back in 2006.

During his rap, O’Neal said that he is, ‘’the difference between first and last place.'’ He even went one better when he implored the crowd in attendance to sing along with the chorus, ‘’Kobe (expletive), tell me how my (expletive) tastes.'’

Hell, the guy even sang about the way Kobe Bryant broke up his marriage.

‘’I'm a horse. Kobe ratted me out,'’ Shaq rapped. ‘’That’s why I’m getting divorced. He said Shaq gave a [woman] a mil. I don’t do that ’cause my name’s Shaquille. I love ‘em, I don’t leave ‘em. I got a vasectomy, now I can’t breed ‘em.'’

Kobe was in a rape scandal back in their last year together with the Lakers. O’Neal was alleged to have paid women hush money that amounted up to a whopping $1 million.

Shaq ended his somewhat intriguing rap freestyle with ‘’Kobe, you can’t do without me'’ over and over.

Now, I wonder what will this guy rap about next in reference to Dwyane Wade?
