After all, this IS Detroit right?

A few years after that infamous Pistons - Pacers brawl in Detroit that saw a foreign object land on Ron Artest’s mug, somebody made the mistake of messing with Detroit again and this time, it’s the Los Angeles Sparks in the 2008 WNBA basketball season.

You read it, in case you haven’t heard already, another brawl materialized in Detroit and this time, it was between WNBA rivals Los Angeles Sparks and Detroit Shock. Although LA won the game, 84-81, this game will be remembered as the day the WNBA tried to hype itself up because quite frankly, nobody has paid attention to this thing before this glorified cat-fight.

Los Angeles Sparks rookie Candace Parker and Detroit Shock star Plenette Pierson were tangled up on a rebound following what almost was the exact same thing at the other end of the floor.

The Los Angeles rookie fell flat on her ass before Pierson decided to walk over her skanky little ass. When Pierson gave Parker a taste of her crotch, the benches cleared and the strangely arousing WNBA brawl, followed.

Wait, there’s more.

Taking advantage of all that was happening, Detroit Shock assistant coach Rick Mahorn decided to fill his palms with some of Lisa Leslie’s ‘’package'’. Pretending to restore order, Mahorn put his hands on Lisa Leslie and knocked her over.

Hee hee…

Three players, including the Detroit Shock assistant coach, were ejected. Sure, Los Angeles won the game but ending it with some of your players suspended and your franchise player molested, I guess they will think twice before they decide to mess with the 313 again.
