Tiger Woods’ Caddie called Phil Mickelson a Fucker
Well, we’re really not sure if the caddie indeed called Mickelson that, but still, it would’ve been nice.
The fact of the matter is, the caddie representing the world’s most popular golfer, (yes, that’s Tiger Woods…) just blasted Tiger’s nemesis, Phil Mickelson, with some comments he probably never anticipated to go public.
Tiger’s caddie, Steve Williams, drew Phil Mickelson’s ire when he had these comments about the world’s third-ranked golfer during an event in New Zealand. ”I wouldn’t call Mickelson a great player, ’cause I hate the [expletive].”
During an interview the very next day,
Williams still had more comments about Phil Mickelson, saying, ”I don’t particularly like the guy. He pays me no respect at all and hence I don’t pay him any respect. It’s no secret we don’t get along either.”
Of course, it was only a matter of time before Phil Mickelson learned about the caddie’s remarks. Mickelson then put out this statement through his representatives.
”After seeing Steve Williams’ comments all I could think of was how lucky I am to have a class act like Bones on my bag and representing me.”
Mickelson’s caddie, Jim MacKay, is nicknamed ”Bones.”
Oh, in case you were wondering, yeah, Tiger Woods also found out what his caddie was saying about his rival. He said he was disappointed about his caddie’s remarks and will look to diffuse the situation.
Steve Williams, probably hoping to still have a job with Tiger, said he now regrets making the disparaging comments.
”I don’t deny that him and I don’t get along,” Steve Williams said from his home in New Zealand. ”I shouldn’t have said it, but no harm was meant. I was just having some fun.”
