Was Terrell Owens complaining about the Cowboys?

Yes, after four weeks of pleasantries, T.O. running his mouth about the Cowboys was only a matter of time.

You read it, after the Dallas Cowboys suffered their very first loss of the 2008-09 NFL football season, losing to their rivals Washington Redskins 26-24 last weekend, Owens began to voice out his displeasure of the Cowboys offense after receiving not more than two catches from Romo the week before.

And although he did have his fair share of the football last weekend, catching the ball seven times for 71 yards and a touchdown, the Dallas Cowboys losing to their rivals from Washington was more than enough for him to lose this ‘’perfect teammate'’ image he has been trying to keep since he arrived here in Dallas.

Terrell Owens‘’I'm a competitor and I want the ball,'’ Terrell Owens said after losing to the Redskins last weekend. ‘’Everybody recognized that I wasn’t really getting the ball in the first half. I’m pretty sure everybody watching the game recognized it, people in the stands recognized it. I think my team recognized it.'’

And for those of you who did watched the game, you have to disagree. Tony Romo did threw to Owens’ direction A LOT. It just so happens that he kept dropping those footballs for almost every single time Romo threw to him.

Of course, the Washington Redskins secondary did a darn good job in keeping Owens in check. And obviously, it wasn’t Romo’s fault if he failed to catch T.O. open because the fact of the matter is, he was just not, period.

A few days after voicing out his frustrations on his team’s offense, Owens probably realized what I just pointed out to ya’ll. That’s probably why he was saying this in his radio show on KLLI-FM.

‘’It’s a matter of being frustrated with the loss,'’ Owens said on his show. ‘’It had nothing to do with the offense.'’

‘’All I have said is I need more opportunities to help this team win. It’s me being confident in who I am. It’s not going to be the last time you hear me say I need the ball.'’

Yeah yeah yeah. Just wait what Owens will have to say when they lose again. Hee hee…
