Who’ll you vote for? Barack Obama or John McCain?

It’s election day.

And while most of you probably could care less who will you be voting for, (especially if you’re a Dallas Cowboys fan still reeling over Romo’s injury…) the U.S. Presidential election begins with two choices, an aging version of George W. Bush and a black guy trying to fool us into thinking that he likes Snoop Dogg.

And for those of you who didn’t get that, that’s John McCain and Barack Obama. McCain is the aging Republican who will probably just continue hating on other countries, keeping oil prices ridiculously expensive in the process once he becomes President, while the other one is Obama, the black Democrat who continues to promote ‘’change'’ by probably having guys like Ice Cube and Michael Jordan under his Cabinet once he gets elected.

Barack Obama vs John McCainChoosing the lesser evil is probably the right way to go if you’re looking to vote one guy over the other to become the next U.S. President. So what are the difference between these two jackoffs? Let’s start with what they plan to do with the faltering economy shall we?

As a Republican, John McCain is in favor of lowering taxes and cutting government spending. Obama on the other hand, wants to increase government revenue by rescinding Bush’s tax cuts on wealthy Americans and of course, finally ending the war in Iraq.

McCain’s economic plan calls for extending the Bush Administration’s tax cuts, eliminating the Alternative Minimum Tax and slashing corporate taxes. The Republican also called for a suspension of federal gas taxes from Memorial Day to Labor Day, plus a simpler tax code.

As expected, the black Democrat plans to go the opposite road.

Barack Obama’s plan calls for more government spending while repealing the tax cuts for people earning over $250,000 a year. His tax policy also calls for a ‘’Making Work Pay'’ tax credit (of up to $500 per person, or $1,000 per working family) and simplified tax filing for average Americans to save time and money in tax preparation.

In trade policy, the two competing presidential hopefuls see things differently as well.

John McCain believes that the U.S. needs to engage in international trade and is in favor of multilateral, regional and bilateral efforts to reduce barriers to trade, level the global playing field and build effective enforcement of global trading rules. His trade policy involves making the next generation of American workers more competitive by improving the quality of education as well as easy access to education for the children.

Barack Obama also supports international trade as it will strengthen the economy and create more jobs for the Americans. However, he intends to fight for a trade policy which opens up foreign markets and press for trade agreements which set labor and environmental standards throughout the world.

So, have you decided who to vote for yet? Will it be for George Bush’s clone or will it be for a middle-aged black guy trying to be gangsta? Unfortunately, you can’t vote for Boston’s BIG THREE.

Will Barack Obama become the next president of the United States? Bodog sportsbook, FOR SOME REASON, has the odds.

Barack Obama 1.10

John McCain 6.75
