This Saturday, the much anticipated UFC 100 will finally arrive as the biggest promotion in mixed martial arts has packed together one mega event with some huge blockbuster cards.

One of which is the unification title fight between UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and UFC interim champion Frank Mir. This is the second meeting between the two heavyweights where the winner will be named as the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion.

Their first meeting ended with some controversy with referee Steve Mazzagatti giving Frank Mir a break when he stood both fighters up and penalized Brock Lesnar for allegedly hitting Mir at the back of the head. Lesnar was in control of Mir before Mazzagatti’s stoppage. When the fight resumed, Mir already had the momentum as he caught Lesnar’s leg to make the former WWE Superstar tap.

Another match you should watch out for is the UFC welterweight championship match between champion, Georges St-Pierre and challenger, Thiago Alves.

Georges St-Pierre has been tearing through the competition in the welterweight division. To some, GSP is unstoppable and arguably the most complete fighter in the UFC. However, Thiago Alves is known as a giant killer and after he brought down a welterweight juggernaut like Matt Hughes at UFC 85, he’s looking to do the same this Saturday at UFC 100.

Another fight you should watch out for is the middleweight fight between Dan Henderson and Michael Bisping. The last season of ”The Ultimate Fighter” was hyping up this fight so much that you’d think they couldn’t hype this entire thing up any longer.

In the Ultimate Fighter Finale, Dan Henderson lost to Bisping big time when his Team USA lost both final matches to Bisping’s Team Britain and although Henderson will be looking for vindication this Saturday, we reckon the Brit will kick some American ass one last time.
