Manny Pacquiao has a Death Wish, wants Miguel Cotto
Apparently, the guy wants to die now.
After scoring yet another fluke victory, this time over Manchester native Rick Hatton, Manny ”the Pacman” Pacquiao asked Bob Arum to go get his next opponent. This time, he wants the reigning WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto, the same guy who just successfully defended his title belt against Joshua Clottey a few days ago.
You read it. It turns out that Manny Pacquiao wants to schedule a fight with Miguel Cotto as soon as possible. After all, Pacquiao knows that the guy just came off a brutal war against Clottey and since the WBO welterweight champ suffered a bad cut on his left eyebrow, Pacquiao knows nursing that will eat a few weeks from the guy’s training, giving the third world moron an edge.
”Manny told me what to do,” Bob Arum said. ”Manny told me, ‘Go ahead, make that fight.’ So it will go Nov. 14 at the MGM Grand here in Vegas.”
Yes, they even have a date set already. And if this Manny Pacquiao – Miguel Cotto fight is indeed officially set on November 14, that’ll give Cotto less than five months to recuperate from his fight with Joshua Clottey, nurse that badly cut left eyebrow and prepare for the biggest joke in boxing.
Not the ideal set of circumstances that can be considered fair. But hey, this is Manny Pacquiao, and for a guy who tells his people to put aging fighters past their prime in front of him, what do you expect?
When asked if Arum will consider rescheduling the fight to a later date because of Cotto’s badly cut eyebrow, he nonchalantly said, ”No because it’s not that bad. Miguel is delighted to get a fight against Manny, trust me. Miguel very much wants this fight. It will be a sensational fight the way they attack.”
Oh that’s for sure. Miguel Cotto wants this one, maybe more than Manny Pacquiao does. And as far as Pacquiao is concerned, he should be careful what he wishes for. Cotto is a natural welterweight and is obviously bigger than Pacquiao.
Sure, we’ve seen Pacquiao bring a bigger guy down before when he defeated Oscar De La Hoya but the fact of the matter is, Cotto is not retiring yet like De La Hoya was when he fought Pacman and on the 14th of November, Pacquiao will soon regret asking Arum to get his third world ass inside the ring with the fiery Puerto Rican.

What fluke happened in the Hatton KO? Hatton went down twice in the 1st round. No fluke, No luck… just superb skill.
Seemed like you Jack got hit harder than Hatton did. Keep dreaming, Jack. We all know you are just in DENIAL.

with the way you’re talking, you’ll make some 1st world weakling poorer. but i’ll bet, you’re jack money ass will be on manny to knock the lights out of cotto. and then you’ll be 1st world richer……

I’d wager JJ Jack didn’t even put his money where his mouth is. I knew several naysayers who were predicting Cotto would maul Lil’ Pac-Man. Yet, even being offered Cotto +190 to +210, they didn’t want to make a bet. Mumblemouth cowards, just like Mayweather. All talk. I laid the long odds on Manny, and it paid off. I’m laughing all the way to the bank.

I’m beginning to think this is just a publicity stunt so he could get our email addresses? This link is top 2 when searching for “pacquio vs cotto betting odds” in google afterall. Did he just get on our nerves in purpose to achieve his hidden agenda? Is he laughing right now saying “suckers!!” and selling our email addresses all over the place? I wouldn’t know because i put a fake one lol.
But either way, entertain us more please and followup what you just wrote. What do you think of the fight? Big joke still?
