Rubens Barrichello, pissed off at Brawn GP teammate Jenson Button (Probably because he’s losing a lot…)

Ladies and gentlemen, dissension within Brawn GP is about to begin.

Yup, it turns out that success can really get into people’s heads, in this case, Brawn GP. In case you have not been watching the 2009 F1 season, Brawn GP is quickly becoming a force to be reckon with, taking the spotlight away from Ferrari, McLaren and basically everybody else.

That’s all thanks to Jenson Button. Of course, their new diffuser technology has a lot to do with it as well… Button, thanks to Brawn’s diffuser, has won six of the season’s first seven races. The only race he didn’t win was in China, where he finished third fastest.

Rubens BarrichelloWith the way Brawn GP has been dominating the season, they almost have the constructors’ title in the bag. Brawn GP leads the race for the constructors’ title with 96 championship points. Their closest competitor is Red Bull, with 56.5 points.

With the dominant year Brawn GP has been having, you would think that everything’s fine and dandy within their camp right? Wrong. You see, not everybody’s happy with the way this season has been going so far. And while Jenson Button has been hogging all the spotlight, Rubens Barrichello has been hating every minute of it.

You read it, Rubens Barrichello ain’t happy. Sure, he may have been getting all kinds of media exposure lately with the way his team has been doing but the fact of the matter is, he’s pissed off that he hasn’t won anything this season yet despite the monster machine Ross Brawn came up with.

”With all my experience, I am very cool. Right now I am pissed off with the situation but tomorrow is another day, Silverstone is a great track for me and I will go there and try to win the race.”

It turns out that the guy is pissed of playing second fiddle again, this time to Jenson Button, after spending most of his career as Michael Schumacher’s sidekick. STILL, he’s not giving up just yet.

”I cannot see him (Button) running away. I cannot see that because we were so fair and square for all the three years together. One year he was better and the other year I was better,” Barrichello said. ”So I don’t see him better now and winning every race this season. At some point there will be a drop and I want to be there to conquer.”
