Iverson leads Pistons against former 76ers teammates
Friday, December 5th, 2008
Yep, Iverson will once again face the 76ers wearing a different uniform.
There is no doubt that the Iverson deal was the biggest trade yet of the 2008-09 NBA basketball season. The Pistons let Billups go for the multi-time scoring champion. However, since acquiring Iverson from Denver, the Pistons have yet to play as a cohesive unit while the Nuggets, with Billups, are the ones benefiting from the trade instead. They have won seven of their last ten games with Billups patrolling the offense, making Piston fans wonder if trading him for Iverson really was the right thing to do.
On Friday night, Allen Iverson will have another chance for redemption when he leads the Detroit Pistons against the team that drafted him in the NBA back in 1996, the Philadelphia 76ers.
For some reason, Allen Iverson hasn’t gotten past the first round of the playoffs since leaving Philly. In Iverson’s next two seasons out of Philadelphia, he lost in the first round of the playoffs with the Denver Nuggets in both campaigns.
After two failed postseason appearances in Denver, Allen Iverson is looking forward to finally get over the hump with the Pistons and since he’s now playing for a team that has advanced to the conference finals for six straight years, the odds of him finally…

Oscar De La Hoya to kill Manny Pacquiao & save boxing
Thursday, December 4th, 2008
Because one, it’s simply personal to the Golden Boy. Two, boxing today desperately needs to be saved from guys like this third world moron.
It’s ON this Saturday, when the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada features the Oscar De La Hoya - Manny Pacquiao fight, a bout being dubbed as the ‘’dream match.'’
And as stated, yes, it’s personal for ‘’the Golden Boy'’ Oscar De La Hoya. He probably feels too that it’s his responsibility to save the sport from guys like Pacquiao who don’t know squat about boxing and just prey on boxers who are either retiring or simply too old to get their ass inside the ring.
Of course, De La Hoya has all the reasons to end the pathetic career of this fool calling himself ‘’the Pacman'’ Manny Pacquiao too. Aside from bastardizing the name of one of the greatest franchises in video game history, Pacquiao doesn’t care about the sport at all. To this guy, it’s just all about money. And while the fucking fagot pretends to be a man of integrity, what happened back in 2006 between De La Hoya and Pacquiao simply suggests that the third world moron is anything but trustworthy.
For all ya’ll uninformed, (or for those Pacquiao fans too blinded by…)

Plaxico Burress arrested for shooting himself with a gun
Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008
Jeez… How stupid can a man get?
Burress, during the first few weeks of the 2008-09 NFL football season, was the Giants’ no.1 option after coming up with the game-winning touchdown last February to win Super Bowl XLII for New York City.
After all that, you would’ve assume Plaxico Burress will be at the top of his game, leading his New York Giants to another Super Bowl run. But after getting his ass suspended for missing practice a few weeks ago followed by sub par performances the weeks after, Burress may have done the worst thing a man can do to force the Giants organization to banish him from New York.
For all ya’ll who didn’t know, Plaxico Burress was
arrested last Monday after shooting himself Friday night in the right thigh at a Manhattan nightclub. He was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. He was released on a $100,000 bond.
The troubled Giants wide receiver is scheduled to return to court on March 31, in which defense lawyer Benjamin Brafman believing that Burress has 35 million reasons to do just that, referring to the whopping $35 million contract Burress has with the Giants organization.
A witness reported hearing a popping sound before Burress’ legs began to shake, according to a criminal complaint. It…

Bears, Vikings play for top spot on Sunday Night Football
Sunday, November 30th, 2008
Don’t tell these guys that they’ll be playing to claim the No.1 spot in a division that’s likely to get it’s ass kicked in the postseason.
The NFC North. For a division that houses a 0-12 Lions team, a Packers franchise trying to reclaim its former glory without Favre and two teams tied on top with a win-loss mark BARELY above .500, the NFC North is probably the worst division we have in the 2008-09 NFL football season.
But still, a No.1 ranking is still a No.1 ranking and as far as the Vikings and the Bears are concerned, two teams currently tied at the top of the NFC North, leading their division is huge as they enter the final weeks of the football year. These two NFC rivals will collide on Sunday Night Football and whoever wins on Sunday night will have sole possession of the top spot.
That battle will be inside the Metrodome where the Minnesota Vikings welcome the visiting Chicago Bears. Led by Adrian Peterson, the Minnesota Vikings will have one of the league’s better running backs on their side. Since shocking the league in his rookie year last season, Peterson is back being a force in the Vikings offense the last few weeks after a somewhat slow start to the season.
The Bears defense know what Adrian Peterson can bring any given night. And since they take pride in stopping anybody on that field, they know they have to stop the run to earn themselves sole possession of the No.1 spot in the NFC North this…

2008 NCAA College Football Week 14 Betting Picks
Saturday, November 29th, 2008
You think the festive mood is over? We still have teams in college football looking to still be in a festive mood over the weekend.
And if you didn’t get that, I’m referring to Week 14 of the 2008 NCAA college football season as the football week continues this Saturday with some huge games that have implications on this year’s race for the BCS bowl games.
First we have the Oklahoma Sooners trying to do what they can to reach the conference title game when they travel to Oklahoma State to face the Cowboys. Of course, the Cowboys would like nothing better than to spoil the grand plans of their archrivals.
The No.3 Oklahoma Sooners forged a
three-way tie atop the South Division with No.4 Texas and No.7 Texas Tech with a 65-21 dismantling of the Red Raiders last Saturday. The win moved Oklahoma up to third in the most recent BCS standings, but the Sooners remained behind the Longhorns, whom the Sooners lost to 45-35 on Oct. 11.
If all three teams win their respective games this weekend, the Big 12 will use the BCS standings to determine the South Division champion to play No.12 Missouri in the Big 12 title game. That would bode well for the Oklahoma Sooners, who already are ranked ahead of Texas in the Harris and coaches polls and would receive a larger boost to their…

How will Oscar De La Hoya fuck Manny Pacquiao up?
Friday, November 28th, 2008
Easy. By simply showing up.
In case you haven’t heard yet, one prized fighter will collide with a third world moron on December 6 at the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas. And in case you didn’t get that, it’s a ‘’Golden Boy'’ Oscar De La Hoya - Manny ‘’the Pacman'’ Pacquiao face-off in what many are calling as the ‘’Dream Match.'’
Dream match? More like mismatch to me. Oscar De La Hoya is obviously the better, more experienced fighter and probably the only way for Manny Pacquiao to pull off a win on this one is urge his government to pay De La Hoya off.
Oscar De La Hoya has a career record of 39
wins with only five losses. 30 of those wins came by way of knockout. However, De La Hoya has declined over the years. His losses came in the last nine years of his career with three of them happening in his last seven fights that spanned from 2003 to 2008, the last one of which against now-retired former WBC super welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.
It was a stroke of genius that Pacquiao’s people scheduled a fight against De La Hoya at this point of De La Hoya’s career. Pacquiao has been doing this a lot lately, scheduling a fight against the aging Erik Morales, the retiring Marco Antonio Barrera and a slower and older…

2008 NFL Football Week 13 Betting Picks and Tips
Thursday, November 27th, 2008
Happy Thanksgiving to ya’ll.
And yes, it’s the 13th week of the 2008-09 NFL football season as teams start to clamor for playoff positions, hoping that week no.13 will be a lucky one for them. And after 12 weeks, we learned that Matt Light and Channing Crowder fights like two eight-year-old school girls, Matt Cassel will be demanding for big dollars soon, Tony Romo is the only one in Dallas who can make Terrell Owens happy and the Lions are on the verge of setting a brand new record in the NFL, that’s becoming the biggest collection of human waste ever assembled on a football field.
And on Thanksgiving night, we will start the brand new week of football with three big games on Thursday. Starting with the last team to flirt with perfection this season, the Tennessee Titans. The Titans are looking to rebound from their first loss of the season. And with the still winless Detroit Lions set to
face them next, the stage is set for Tennessee bouncing back indeed. The 0-11 Lions are on the verge of becoming the first team in the NFL to go 0-16. And with teams like the Vikings, the Colts, the Saints and the Packers scheduled to play the struggling Lions next after going through the Titans, 0-16 is a scary possibility for the 313.
Tennessee Titans by 14.
Game 2 on Thanksgiving night will feature the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Seattle Seahawks. With Tony Romo returning to form and getting in sync with Terrell Owens last week, the Cowboys appear to have successfully put their mid-season troubles behind them. The Cowboys are 2-0 since Romo returned and with the struggling Seahawks set to play them at Texas Stadium next, a third straight win for America’s team is…

Donovan McNabb to start for the Eagles on Thanksgiving
Thursday, November 27th, 2008
That’s despite playing like a jackass that got his ass benched at halftime last Sunday in a 36-7 loss to Baltimore.
After a promising start to the 2008-09 NFL football season, problems have once again started to ground the Eagles heading to the final stretch of the football year. And after all their problems at quarterback the last few years, guess what, they’re having problems with the QB position again.
For what it’s worth, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb is healthy for the first time in quite a while. With McNabb back behind center, the Eagles looked like they’re finally ready to reclaim their spot atop the NFC since a particular wide receiver defected to Dallas. Well, at least that’s what they looked like during the first few weeks of the season anyway.
But during the last three weeks, the Philadelphia Eagles can’t seem to get it going on the field. After three weeks, the Eagles lost two and let the lowly Bengals tie them in overtime. And for a team that’s trying to keep up with the rest of the NFC East, again arguably the best division in pro sports, what the Eagles have done lately is simply unacceptable.
And while ‘’unacceptable'’ is more than enough, McNabb did more than that last Sunday.
McNabb was pulled from a game for the first time in his career after two dismal quarters against the Ravens over the…

NEWS FLASH!!! LeBron James goes to New York!
Tuesday, November 25th, 2008
Easy, easy. LeBron James will go to New York to play the Knicks and not play FOR them… YET.
After all the deals the Knicks pulled this early into the 2008-09 NBA basketball season to clear up some salary cap space, it is safe to assume that they are going after the biggest free agent to hit the market in the history of the NBA. NO, it ain’t you but LeBron James.
You see, the New York Knicks traded away their top two scorers, Jamal Crawford and Zach Randolph to cut some money they spend on payroll since these two were the ones eating up a lot of cap space the most in New York. Crawford was sent to the Golden State Warriors while Randolph was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Now that they have enough money
to burn, they can start going after LeBron James when he becomes a free agent in 2010. James is one of the four big free agents hitting the market next season with Cris Bosh, Amare Stoudemire and Dwyane Wade also looking for huge contracts at the end of this campaign.
New York fans will have a taste of LeBron James this Tuesday when he leads his Cleveland Cavaliers to Madison Square Garden to play the Knicks. And although they already know James will make their beloved Knicks look bad on Tuesday night, I have a gut feeling that these Knicks fans will take it in the ass smiling.
After all, they’re probably used to losing by now…

Houston Rockets to Fuck the Miami Heat Up some more
Monday, November 24th, 2008
Because when you talk about a fucked up town like Miami and their Heat, fucking ‘em up never gets old.
Ah, the Miami Heat. It’s been a while since we’ve last taken a look at how incredibly pathetic they’ve become since screwing the Mavs of the title back in 2005. And since this is the first time we’re gonna’ have this in the 2008-09 NBA basketball season, I’m writing all of these down with gleeful joy.
They have the Houston Rockets visiting them this Monday and while Dwyane Wade has successfully recovered from a knee injury, not letting a sprained ankle and flu-like symptoms slow him down, a visit from the surging Rockets will.
At 7-6, the Miami Heat team we see this year is nowhere near the championship team, talent-wise, that screwed the Mavs of the NBA title back in 2005. Shaquille O’Neal has been replaced by rookie Michael Beasley who, in my opinion, is a complete waste of a draft pick, Jason Williams has been replaced by Chris Quinn, a Caucasian dude trying to be, well… J-Will and the addition of Shawn Marion has been nothing more but a complete failure so far this season.
Facing a Rockets defense that ranks second only to the Boston Celtics will…
