Just when you thought the 2009 F1 season will finally be just about what matters most, ACTUAL RACING, it turns out that Max Mosley, currently seated as the president of F1’s governing body, the FIA, is under pressure to stand for re-election.
You read it. Following the FOTA’s threats of quitting F1 to come up with a breakaway championship series that will rival the FIA, they now want FIA president Max Mosley to stand for re-election hoping that they’d finally have a new guy seated on arguably the most powerful spot in motor racing.
Of course, Mosley doesn’t want any part of it. In fact, he so pissed that he’s condemning FOTA for ‘’dancing on his grave.'’
‘’They made the mistake of dancing on my grave before I was buried. It’s no good the teams getting a PR agency to claim I am dead and buried when I am standing here as large as life,'’ Max Mosley said.
