The controversy surrounding Tiger Woods continues even though he has settled his problems with police officials.

How come? Get this, several other women are coming forward claiming they had affairs with Tiger Woods. One of those women is Jaimee Grubbs and she has come forward to US Weekly.

Another woman has voice mails from Tiger and is in talks with a national outlet to reveal her sexual affair with the golfing great. Several national media outlets are in contact with other women who say the have had sexual contact with Tiger while he married to Elin Nordegren.

It all adds up to the ”Tiger Woods cheating scandal” turning into an even bigger national story, despite his attempts to defuse various reports with a statement on his web site asking for privacy and attacking rumors.

A day before the crash, the National Enquirer published an exclusive story linking him to Rachel Uchitel, a party planner who has vehemently denied an affair with Tiger. Woods was injured around 2:25 a.m. Friday after crashing his SUV into a fire hydrant. The police closed the investigation Tuesday with a $164 fine and points against his driver’s license.

In case you didn’t know, yes, Sarah Palin finally walked away as governor of Alaska, announcing the big resignation over the weekend.

But only Sarah Palin herself knows the reason behind the sudden big announcement. Did her legal troubles finally caught up to her to drive her out of office or was David Letterman’s tirade about her daughter getting knocked up by Alex Rodriguez just too much for her corporate ass to bear?

In an interview with the press, Sarah Palin’s lawyer Thomas Van Flein, explained why Palin walked away from office. And unfortunately for us, he didn’t say anything about David Letterman. (Boo!)

”She is leaving now because I think she believes that she has become the issue, rightly or wrongly, with all these ethics complaints and with the issues involving the Legislature, the combativeness they’ve been demonstrating toward her since she returned from the campaign,” Van Flein said of Palin, still widely believed to be a possible presidential candidate in 2012.

”I think she believes it’s in the best interest of the state to progress forward, for her to move on to other issues.”

Palin has become a lightning rod for partisan politics in Alaska since her return from the 2008 presidential campaign after John McCain selected her as his running mate. She has racked up an estimated $500,000 in legal bills defending the flurry of ethics complaints, including one filed a few days ago that claims she is violating ethics law by taking per diem payments when she stays in her Wasilla home instead of the governor’s mansion in Juneau.

That’s apparently what fans (and gamblers of course) want to find out next. And in case you didn’t know, yes, the 27-year-old rap superstar Clifford Harris, a.k.a. T.I. will face a year in jail after pleading guilty to weapons charges.

He pleaded guilty as part of a plea deal that could send the rapper behind bars. But first, the U.S. District Judge Charles Pannell Jr. will first need to sign off on the plea bargain. When sentenced, T.I. could be ordered to perform 1,500 hours of community service which he would serve by talking to youth groups across the United States and about 12 months behind bars.

Additionally, T.I. could also be sentenced to three years’ supervised release, including a year of home detention aside from also be ordered to pay a $100,000 fine.

”While I’m not looking forward to being incarcerated, I have a long road of redemption to travel,” T.I. told reporters outside the courtroom. ”I am dedicated and committed to that.”

”I’m looking forward to turning this negative time in my life into a positive. I’d like to thank God for blessing me with a second chance in life and success. I realize I completely violated the law, and I take it very seriously.”

And while the 2009 NBA basketball season gets interesting by the minute, yes, former NBA star Charles Barkley will be put behind bars soon after he pleaded guilty to DUI charges in Scottsdale, Arizona.

It was the very last night of 2008 when Charles Barkley was arrested for drunk driving. The TNT basketball analyst (well, he tries to be anyway…) was faced with two misdemeanor charges of DUI.

He also pleaded guilty to a third charge of running a red light. Wow, welcoming the brand new year sure got Barkley in all sorts of trouble eh?

As a result of all this, Barkley will be serving five days in prison, must enter an alcohol awareness program (which probably won;t do shit anyway…) and will have to pay a fine of more than $2,000.

It also forced him to take a six-week leave of absence from his TNT desk. He returned right after the NBA All-Star break.

Additionally, since the incident happened in Arizona, he’ll also be forced to install an ignition interlock device on all of his vehicles, as required by Arizona law. The legal limit for blood-alcohol level in Arizona is .08. Barkley had a blood-alcohol level of .149 percent.

Barkley will start his five-day sentence in jail on March 21.

Apparently, that’s what a judge from Pennsylvania thinks.

Here’s one victory for poker folks who are forced to tangle with so many legal issues just to enjoy the game they love. In a decision handed by one judge from Eastern Pennsylvania, poker has now been officially declared (at least in his courtroom) as NOT a game of luck. Instead, he goes on to state that poker is a game of skill, something poker fans been harping about since time immemorial.

The judge those guys should applaud for this decision is Columbia County Judge Thomas A. James. In his ruling, James absolved a certain Walter Watkins who was slapped a lawsuit after a poker game he was hosting was raided.

Unfortunately for Watkins, an undercover Pennsylvania state trooper was present during his little ”poker tournament.” During the sessions, Watkins stressed that he wasn’t charging rake. Instead, he merely encourages players to tip his dealers after every hand.

Nothing wrong with that. After all, it’s a difficult job. (Especially for those people who don’t like math anyway…)

Judge James based his decision on, among other factors, the numerous poker books available that talk about the skill factors involved in poker. His logic? It’s election day.

And while most of you probably could care less who will you be voting for, (especially if you’re a Dallas Cowboys fan still reeling over Romo’s injury…) the U.S. Presidential election begins with two choices, an aging version of George W. Bush and a black guy trying to fool us into thinking that he likes Snoop Dogg.

And for those of you who didn’t get that, that’s John McCain and Barack Obama. McCain is the aging Republican who will probably just continue hating on other countries, keeping oil prices ridiculously expensive in the process once he becomes President, while the other one is Obama, the black Democrat who continues to promote ”change” by probably having guys like Ice Cube and Michael Jordan under his Cabinet once he gets elected.

Choosing the lesser evil is probably the right way to go if you’re looking to vote one guy over the other to become the next U.S. President. So what are the difference between these two jackoffs? Let’s start with what they plan to do with the faltering economy shall we?

After news about Charles Barkley failing to pay up his debt to Wynn Las Vegas broke out last May, it seems we have another guy who fell to the same embarrassing episode.

And this time, we have Joe Francis, the founder of the Girls Gone Wild videos. He he… And while Barkley had a whopping $400,000 debt to settle, (which we assume he did already…) this guy did Barkley one better, a whopping $2 million more.

It was last May when Charles Barkley announced that he’s done with gambling after settling his $400,000 debt (or so he claims…) with Wynn Las Vegas. With Joe Francis owing the gambling spot a whole lot more than that, I wonder what this will do to a guy who films tits and asses for a living.

In case you have no idea who Max Mosley is, he’s the president of the FIA, the governing body that controls F1 racing. He’s like the David Stern of motor racing.
