It’s not the month of love yet, but I don’t think it has anything to do with the hundreds of lovers driving to Vegas to get hitched.
Any time of the year is just fine.
Truth is, it is only in Las Vegas where you can truly have your dream wedding. Whether you want Elvis or a Klingon high commander to bless your matrimonial vows, or how about a quick one at the drive-thru? No frills, no need to feed unwanted guests…say ‘I do” and speed away to your honeymoon destination.
It’s fun, affordable, spontaneous, exciting, even celebrities do it. The possibilities are endless.
Yeah, yeah. I can understand if you’re cynical about Vegas weddings. I blame it on Britney Spears. Shame on her for making a joke out of her own Vegas wedding. I heard she’s been banned for life.
Seriously though, many who go to the Sin City to get hitched are not all stoned or drunk and didn’t know any better. Many couples do prefer to have a wedding here and stay together till death do them part. And not all are done spontaneously.
Yes, the streets of Vegas has a long line of themed wedding chapels open 24 hours for those waiting for nothin’ to get tied up. But for the more sophisticated, the many Las Vegas hotels are popular venues.
