Which of them will fall flat on their faces first?

The 2010 March Madness bracket tournament has been set and the top four No.1 seeds have been announced, that being the Kansas Jayhawks, the Kentucky Wildcats, the Duke Blue Devils and the Syracuse Orange. That being said, basketball aficionados looking to score some major winnings will wait which No.1 seed will falter first since these guys know how big underdogs pay off.

So who'll get the boot first? Let's start with the Duke Blue Devils. Among all of the no.1 seeds in this year's tournament, many people are expecting Duke to have the easiest matchup, well, at least in the first round. Duke has all the materials to go deep in this tournament and since the Tar Heels won't be playing this March, not many people think otherwise.

Next we have the Kansas Jayhawks. Kansas has one of the best defenses in college basketball as they held opponents to 63.8 points, the best average in the Big 12, the very conference the Jayhawks dominated with a 15-1 record before claiming the conference tournament championship for the seventh time. Betting against these guys is pretty much, not a good idea.

We also have the Syracuse Orange. They will slug it out against the Vermont Catamounts in the first round of the 2010 NCAA tourney. Looking back at the history of these two teams, Vermont, champions of the America East Conference, beat Syracuse 60-57 in overtime in the first round of the 2005 NCAA tournament, a stinging loss the Orange have not forgotten. And if you're looking for an upset in the first round, this matchup can very well give you one.

Syracuse had finished the 2004-05 regular season at 24-6 and...

Once were done with the 2010 NBA basketball season, LeBron James will be wearing no.6 for his next campaign. That's right, he finally made the bold decision of switching his jersey number from number 23 to number 6 official.

The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar just beat the deadline and is dead serious in honoring Michael Jordan. ''I've done it,'' LeBron James said in an interview. ''I already sent it in. I'm going to be No. 6.'' James first floated the idea in November, saying he wanted to switch from 23 out of respect for Jordan.

''I just think what Michael Jordan has done for the game has to be recognized some way soon,'' LeBron James said. ''There would be no LeBron James, no Kobe Bryant, no Dwyane Wade if there wasn't Michael Jordan first.''

''He can't get the logo, and if he can't, something has to be done. I feel like no NBA player should wear 23. I'm starting a petition, and I've got to get everyone in the NBA to sign it. Now, if I'm not going to wear No. 23, then nobody else should be able to wear it.'' he said.

James would wear 6, the number he wore while leading the U.S. to Olympic gold in Beijing in 2008. He has worn it in Cavs practices over the past two years. But it has other special qualities to him.

''My second-favorite player was Julius Erving, and he wore No. 6,'' James said. ''I wore 32 in high school because Dr. J wore it at first. My first child was born on Oct. 6, it's my Olympic number, my second child was born in June.''

EA Sports and John Madden looked into their crystal ball and did all bettors a favor by letting them know not only the outcome of Super Bowl XLIV, but the simulated video game they ran also pegged the MVP.

I feel sorry for all of those who already bet on someone other than Drew Brees, as it was none other than the New Orleans Saints quarterback who won the award in the simulated Super Bowl in Madden NFL 10.

Online sportsbooks like SPORTSBETTING.com have had the Super Bowl MVP prop betting option up for over a week now. It is always one of the more popular options for the sports betting public. And with the big game between the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints just around the corner, this is probably your last chance to make your pick.

Madden NFL 10's Super Bowl MVP, Drew Brees, is currently the second most popular option with bettors, sitting right behind, as you might expect, Peyton Manning. Sportsbooks are currently reporting Manning with 34 percent of all the MVP betting action.

When it comes to MVP betting, QBs are usually a decent choice...

Just in case you didn't know, Super Bowl XLIV is this Sunday in Miami, Florida where the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints play for all the marbles. It's Peyton Manning going up against Drew Brees, Manning's legacy against the city of New Orleans. If you're not pumped up about that, then you're probably one of two things; you don't like sports or you're just too enamored with Manny Pacquiao that you stick your head up his ass, talk about everything he does 24/7 and call it a sport.

As for the rest of us who do love sports, more specifically football, the Super Bowl match-up between the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints should be one heckuva' game. Hell, the conference championship games both teams played on a couple of weeks ago was one of the highest rated football games on TV already. Super Bowl XLIV should be off the chain.

Of course, before the Indianapolis Colts take on the New Orleans Saints in Super Bowl XLIV, sportsbooks across the country have begun to post all kinds of betting options for you to bet on and our guys from Bodog are no different.

No, it's not Hulk Hogan versus Andre the Giant all over again but the 2010 Rose Bowl. Oregon's irresistible running game, averaging 236 yards per contest, takes on Ohio State's immovable defense that has only given up a measly 83.7 yards to the opposing team.

Well, something's got to give and this Rose Bowl game between the Oregon Ducks and the Ohio State Buckeyes could very well decide which is really important in winning championships, defense or offense?

The Ohio State Buckeyes have always been the better team every single time they went up against Oregon. The Buckeyes have been so dominant that they haven't been defeated by any Oregon Ducks team for seven straight contests.

Yes, Ohio State is 7-0 all-time against Oregon, which makes betting on the Ducks at the Rose Bowl a little bit harder to fathom.

Of course, if you're a Ducks fan, you'd be happy to know that these two teams haven't played each other since 1987 and a lot of improvements have been made by the Ducks since then. Oregon now has a formidable running game that ranks sixth overall in the nation and as good as that offense has been, their defense isn't so bad either.

Oregon has only surrendered 329 yards per game, which ranks...

The Indianapolis Colts kick off Week 15 of the 2009 NFL football season as they put their undefeated 13-0 mark on the line against AFC South rivals Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Indianapolis Colts haven't lost a game this season. They are playing so good that they haven't skipped a beat for 22 straight games, winning their last 22 contests on that football field dating as far back as last season.

On Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars, they just want to prove how they are a class of their own this season. They already secured every possibly thing there is to secure heading to the postseason and as far as the Colts are concerned, staying motivated is the only thing they should be concerned about.

The Colts captured their sixth AFC South title in seven years following a 35-27 win at Houston on Nov. 29, then wrapped up home-field advantage with a 28-16 victory over Denver last Sunday. The Colts have now set NFL records for consecutive regular-season wins (22) and victories in a decade (114) with their latest victory.

Indianapolis became the seventh team in league history to start 13-0 and could take a shot at a 19-0 season, something that has never been achieved. Of course, the Colts players and coaches have repeatedly denied any desire to focus on a perfect record but you can almost feel they are gearing for one after flirting with perfection the last few years.

The last time these two teams met, Indianapolis beat Jacksonville 14-12. The Colts are 12-4 all-time against the Jaguars with Peyton Manning at quarterback.

As expected, Alabama and Texas will play for the BCS national title.

So much for Tim Tebow's last hurrah this 2009 NCAA college football season eh? In case you missed it, Tebow's Gators lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide last weekend, 32-13, while the Texas Longhorns BARELY edged the Cornhuskers, 13-12, as the Tide and the Longhorns earned the invite to play for the BCS title.

It was a fitting end to what has been another awesome season. And after 14 weeks of college football, it's going to be the Alabama Crimson Tide playing the Texas Longhorns on January 7 for the 2010 BCS national championship in a game between two Heisman trophy hopefuls, Alabama's Mark Ingram and Longhorns quarterback Colt McCoy.

Of course, like every other year the BCS selects its two championship teams, we have quite a few snubs again with each of 'em worthy of playing for the title game as well.

This year, we have the No.3 TCU Horned Frogs, the No.4 Cincinnati Bearcats and the No.6 Boise State Broncos (again...) who have all finished the season undefeated just like Alabama and Texas. And the debate about college football's way of choosing the two best teams to play for the title once again rears its ugly head and just like every other year, those folks from the BCS are standing by their decision.

''It's a fair question,'' said BCS executive director Bill Hancock...

The Cincinnati Bengals have been surprising people this 2009 NFL football season. They sit on top of the AFC North after all those years of struggling to make the playoffs. Are these guys for real? Well, after earning what is arguably their biggest win of the season, they probably are.

You read it, the Cincinnati Bengals have made a statement last Sunday. They just beat the defending Super Bowl champions Pittsburgh Steelers, ON A BAD DAY. That's right, the Bengals struggled all game long and yet, they still managed to pull through and get the win.

So how in the heck do you beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on a bad day? Easy. Defense. For the first time at Heinz Field, the best defense on the grass wasn't wearing purple and gold, it was Cincinnati in orange and black.

You read it, the Bengals defense have stepped it up and after beating the defending champions Pittsburgh Steelers, 18-12, Cincinnati at 7-2 is on top of the AFC North and is in prime position to return to the postseason. Chad Ochocinco was right after all when he said the Bengals will make the playoffs before the season started. How about that huh...

Yep, you read it, Week 11 of the 2009 NFL football season will kick off on the wild side because this week, the Miami Dolphins and that wildcat offense will travel to Bank of America Stadium to take on the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football.

Now I don't know about you but that's the way to start a week of football. The Miami Dolphins have become one of the most exciting teams in the NFL because of that explosive wildcat offense that the Dolphins introduced to the league last year. If they can just win more games with the wildcat.

As of this writing, both the Miami Dolphins and the Carolina Panthers have an identical 4-5 mark. The Panthers' 28-19 win over Atlanta last Sunday put them one game behind the Falcons, Packers, Eagles and Giants in the wild card picture, with a game in New York still remaining on their schedule.

The Dolphins BARELY saved themselves from falling to 3-6 after quarterback Chad Henne gave up an interception in the last two minutes of their game against the Buccaneers last Sunday. The Bucs came up with a touchdown, giving them the 23-22 lead with 1:14 to go. Thankfully, Henne didn't made the same mistake when they got the ball back as...

Is Allen Iverson considering retirement from the NBA?

Looks like being benched in Memphis is really getting to Iverson now.

A.I. was really hoping for better things coming to the 2009 NBA basketball season. People following him on Twitter know that. But after an auspicious start to the season and realizing that he will still be relegated as a bench player in Memphis like he was in Detroit last year, Iverson ain't happy with the Grizzlies no more and now, rumors claim that he's already contemplating on retirement because of it.

Yes, Allen Iverson, the former league MVP and multi-time scoring champion, is on the brink of walking away from his career. Things haven't been working out as Iverson had hoped in Memphis and since his new head coach Lionel Hollins ain't budging, rumors claim that Iverson could take the easy way out, retire.

Still, Memphis Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley has shot down the idea that Iverson is already considering retirement. For all ya'll who didn't know, Iverson took a leave of absence from the Grizzlies for ''personal reasons,'' and as far as Heisley is concerned, retirement is not one of 'em.

''I expect him to come back,'' Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley said. ''If he does retire, I'll be tremendously disappointed. I feel bad because I don't think that's the way he should go out.''

He's right. Iverson is only averaging 12.3 points and 3.7 assists in 22.3 minutes per game this season and by Iverson's standards, those are unacceptable numbers. But hey, at least...
