The 2010 March Madness bracket tournament has been set and the top four No.1 seeds have been announced, that being the Kansas Jayhawks, the Kentucky Wildcats, the Duke Blue Devils and the Syracuse Orange. That being said, basketball aficionados looking to score some major winnings will wait which No.1 seed will falter first since these guys know how big underdogs pay off.

So who'll get the boot first? Let's start with the Duke Blue Devils. Among all of the no.1 seeds in this year's tournament, many people are expecting Duke to have the easiest matchup, well, at least in the first round. Duke has all the materials to go deep in this tournament and since the Tar Heels won't be playing this March, not many people think otherwise.

Next we have the Kansas Jayhawks. Kansas has one of the best defenses in college basketball as they held opponents to 63.8 points, the best average in the Big 12, the very conference the Jayhawks dominated with a 15-1 record before claiming the conference tournament championship for the seventh time. Betting against these guys is pretty much, not a good idea.

We also have the Syracuse Orange. They will slug it out against the Vermont Catamounts in the first round of the 2010 NCAA tourney. Looking back at the history of these two teams, Vermont, champions of the America East Conference, beat Syracuse 60-57 in overtime in the first round of the 2005 NCAA tournament, a stinging loss the Orange have not forgotten. And if you're looking for an upset in the first round, this matchup can very well give you one.

Syracuse had finished the 2004-05 regular season at 24-6 and...

An intriguing game in the 2010 March Madness bracket tournament will be played on Thursday as 11th seed Washington faces 6th seed Marquette. This is the third straight year Marquette has been a number six seed in the NCAA tournament. Two years ago they beat 11th seed Kentucky in the first round before losing to third-seeded Stanford in overtime in the second round. Last year, Marquette beat 11th seed Utah State and lost to third-seeded Missouri in the second round. It is the fifth straight year the Eagles have made the tournament.

The Marquette Golden Eagles are 2-point favorites at SBG Global.

Not much was expected of Marquette this season since they lost three starters, but the Eagles really came together late in the season, winning 11 of their last 14 games. The Eagles don't have much of a bench so the starters are a big key. Marquette had some nice wins this year over Villanova, Georgetown and Xavier so they are capable of making a little run in the NCAA tournament.

Lazar Hayward is their big scorer. He was named second team All-Big East this season. Marquette is a good shooting team, especially from long range. The Eagles averaged 72.9 points per game this season while they allowed 64.2 points per game.

The Washington Huskies, on the other hand, had what could be considered a disappointing regular season but they made up for it by winning the Pac-10 Tournament. Washington has some players who can make an impact including Quincy Pondexter who leads the team in scoring.

Marquette and Washington have met twice in history but it was a long time ago. Marquette won 75-74 in 1966 and 71-63 in 1978.

The Huskies are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall but...

Since it's that obvious anyway.

Arguably the greatest three weeks in sports are upon us with the 2010 March madness bracket tournament tipping off. And of course Bodog will have everything a basketball bettor could ever need.

Yes, it's that time of year when even the most amateur sports fan becomes an expert in basketball with the men's NCAA tournament here. From the play-in game through the 2010 NCAA Final Four in Indianapolis, Bodog will have it all covered with basketball news, odds, contests and more.

That's right, the road to the Final Four runs through Bodog and you won't find any gaming site with as many basketball betting options on the NCAA tournament than those guys. They've been doing this for 15 years and they should already know what bettors want when it comes to the Big Dance. From odds to news to brackets, you'll find it all at Bodog.

This year's NCAA men's basketball tournament appears to be one of the most wide-open tourneys in recent year, and that could be good news for those basketball bettors. While the North Carolina Tar Heels were huge favorites going into last year's Big Dance and came home with the title, the Heels are not even in the field this year.

The Kansas Jayhawks, the Kentucky Wildcats, the Syracuse Orange and the Duke Blue Devils are your four No.1 seeds in the bracket this year, but none of those four could be considered a lock Final Four team.

Last year's tournament was very chalk, as for the first time since seeding began, all 12 teams seeded No.3 or better made it to the Sweet 16, and three No.1 seeds reached the Elite Eight for the third straight year.

There are probably about 20 or so teams that have a real shot at...

In what should be an utter disrespect to the sport of boxing, Bob Arum's shady promotion at the Cowboys Stadium this Saturday, otherwise known as the Manny Pacquiao - Joshua Clottey fight, will show just how fucking pathetic his prized Pacman really is in trying to fool his fans that what they'll be watching this weekend is an actual boxing fight.

I can tell you right now that it's anything but. You see, Manny Pacquiao and his people handpicked Joshua Clottey and paid him off for him to take a dive right there in the middle of the ring in Dallas just so Pacquiao's fans, (all fifteen of 'em...) can continue to fool themselves into thinking that Pacman is a decent fighter.

Heck, Arum is so adamant in trying to market this fucking charade that he's even dubbing this fight between Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey as ''The Event.''

Of course, we all know that this THING (I'm not even calling it a boxing match...) this Saturday is not ''the event'' fight fans were asking to see. But thanks to Manny Pacquiao's hesitation to submit himself to the rules of boxing, (you know, like submitting yourself to simple drug tests and what not...) we're all left with this skit Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao came up with.

The last time we took notice of the Mavericks' ridiculous winning streak this 2010 NBA basketball season was five days ago, when they were going after their 9th straight win and remain the hottest team in the league at this point of the year.

The Dallas Mavericks were up against the Minnesota Timberwolves then and, to nobody's surprise really, they got their 9th straight victory. Five days later, the Mavericks are still winning and we're picking them up right now as these guys go for their 12th straight win.

What's funny is the fact that we're picking up the Mavericks just before they kick the living daylights out of the Minnesota Timberwolves again. Yup, for some reason, the Wolves find themselves right in the middle of this freight train's tracks, for the second time in five days. Ouch.

With wins over the Suns, the Magic, the Heat, the Pacers, the Lakers, the Hawks, the Hornets, the Bobcats, the Wolves, the Kings and just recently, the Bulls, the Mavericks'' 11-game winning streak is now arguably the best any team has accomplished this season. They are playing like the best team in basketball right now. Don't believe me? Just ask the Bulls.

In the Mavericks' win over the Chicago Bulls, shades of that 2006...

Better yet, they NEED to.

At 30-31, the Miami Heat really don't have that much going for them this 2010 NBA basketball season. Now, if this was a couple of years ago, I'd be the first guy to point out how bad this season has been for Miami. But surprisingly, I learned to like D-Wade, and right now, I can't help but feel sorry for the guy.

You see, Dwyane Wade went through the exact same thing last year, when his team was underachieving, still looking to find them pieces to make the team talented enough to go for a championship again.

Thankfully, D-Wade made last season's campaign worthwhile for Miami Heat fans despite such a disappointing record. Remember that game-winning three-pointer Wade got at the buzzer to beat the Bulls in double overtime? Yeah, that one sent the entire American Airlines Arena into a frenzy with D-Wade standing on a courtside table pointing to the ''El Heat'' insignia on his jersey reminding Heat fans that this was his house. That was one of three rousing home wins in a five-day span, including a triple overtime thriller against the Utah Jazz with D-Wade scoring FIFTY.

Well, THAT was last year, when they had spectacular and memorable...

In case you haven't noticed it yet, the Dallas Mavericks have crept up on us all this 2010 NBA basketball season with almost everyone going ga-ga over teams like the Cavaliers, the Lakers and this ridiculous feud between Shaq and Dwight Howard.

While the rest of the league are too preoccupied with anything that has something to do with LeBron, Kobe and what not, the Dallas Mavericks have slowly but surely taken over the league, winning eight games straight to post the second best record in the West and become the hottest team in the NBA at this point of the season.

Led by Dirk Nowitzki, averaging 25.2 points a game, the Mavericks improved to 40-21, good for the second seed in the Western Conference if the 2010 NBA playoffs started today. On Wednesday, they have the Minnesota Timberwolves, a team that lost nine of its last ten games.

It shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why you should stay the hell away from the Minnesota Timberwolves on this one.

How did the Mavericks come up with this league-best eight-game winning streak at this point of the year? Simple. They're giving Nowitzki more touches and he's cashing in on those opportunities too.

Nowitzki has been scoring over 30 points for three games straight...

And after failing to qualify for Euro 2008, it has been a long four years for England fans to wait and remember what it feels like to get behind their team in a major international competition. Now that England is in the 2010 FIFA World Cup, English football fans couldn't be any happier.

England head to South Africa confident, having easily secured their place for this year's World Cup. And for the first time in quite a long time, English fans can finally look forward to the World Cup with a sense of optimism.

The draw for the 2010 World Cup took place in Cape Town and with the way the countries have been drawn, it looks like lady luck is really smiling on England. They got a great draw coming up against USA, Slovenia and Algeria in Group C, making the English team as the clear favorites to win the group.

The rest of the world will be watching South Africa soon.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup is fast approaching and eyes will be set on South Africa with matches held in nine cities across the land. The world's greatest footballers will be on display too as football fans around the world are eagerly anticipating a month of football bliss.

On that note, here's an early rundown of the top five countries to watch out for in this year's World Cup, starting with the country that won the last biggest tournament in football, the Euro 2008 champions Spain.

Though Spain has never won the World Cup, this may be their best chance ever. Their forwards score goals and their midfield is among the best in the world. At goalkeeping, Iker Casillas is equally very impressive, helping them to engineer a 15 game winning streak to set an international record earlier in 2009.

Although the United States' victory over Spain late in the year was one of the biggest upsets in a long time, Spain remains the team to beat. They are in Group H along with Switzerland, Honduras and Chile.

Another team to watch out for is Argentina primarily because they have on their roster the best footballer in the world right now in Lionel Messi. Argentina also has the best defensive midfielder in the world, Javier Mascherano along with a number of very talented youngsters, including Sergio Aguero.

Their manager knows what it takes to win. While they did suffer...
