Hillary Tops Another Bookie List for Prez

Online booksters BetUsa have listed their odds for the 2008 presidential election and, no surprise, Hillary Rodham Clinton tops it as a surprisingly generous 4-1 favorite. Other notable favorites include former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani at 10-1 and Arizona Senator John McCain at 15-1. But the longshots are where it gets interesting. HBO’s diminutive soapbox devil Bill Maher comes in at 1000-1, proving that making inflammatory statements about United States soon after its biggest national tragedy doesn’t completely alienate you as a potential presidential candidate. However, the same cannot be said for current Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, who is listed at 2500-1 odds.
