Weather Odds: Bet the Sweat

NIPSWEAT.jpgIt feels like it’s 110 degrees in New York City right now. We’re sitting in a loft that’s serving as Oddjack headquarters that currently feels about, oh, 145 degrees. Remember that scene in G.I. Jane when all the budding Navy Seals had to take a written exam in a hot room with little ventilation? That’s exactly how we feel. And we’re roasting and so incomprehensibly sweaty at a little before 10 a.m. that we might pass out. Honestly, you can sail toy boats in our boxer shorts. Anway, unfortunately the odds are not set on New York City breaking 180 degrees this year because if they were, we’d surely take those and then parlay it into the +20 on the amount of manholes that will burst as well. Unfortunately, we can only do that in the UK right now, which is taking bets on the temperature breaking 100 degrees this year.
