NCAA Football Betting: Kansas Irked By Texas Spread

tx-shaped-spread.jpgThe Kansas Jayhawks football team is a little miffed about the 34 1/2 points they’re getting for their Saturday matchup against number two ranked Texas. Kansas linebacker Kevin Kane considers the line a huge insult considering his squad is the fifth ranked defense in the country:

“We know that we are one of the top defenses in the country, and to get that kind of slap in the face kind of makes you a little upset.”

But Kane should feel a little better. The line has moved since the opening and now the Jayhawks are only 33 point underdogs against Texas. Those one and a half points are done out of respect, Kevin. Texas is still 8-1 ATS this year, but Kansas did give them a scare when they last met leading the game with five minutes to go. Texas eventually came back and won 27-23.
