The Washington Nationals have suddenly lost their superhero powers and are just the plain old Montreal Expos again. And not even the good Montreal Expos with the Hawk and Steve Rogers. Tonight the Nationals head into Atlanta to battle the Braves for what could be the rest of their season. The Nationals are +155 away doggy dogs against the Braves—a number we haven’t seen from them in a while—with gimpy Livan Hernandez versus the recently untouchable John Smoltz. According to Covers, even manager Frank Robinson is skeptical about the rest of the season if the Nats keep relying on pitching:

“If we go into Atlanta and hit the way we`re going, we don`t have a chance.”
