After Larry Brown signed on as coach of the dreadful New York Knicks last week, the kooky sharps over at WagerWeb decided it would be a fun prop bet to see who would win more games between Brown and another high-profile coach returning to the league this year, Phil Jackson of the Los Angeles Lakers. Both coaches are 5:6 odds head-to-head to win more games.

Now, it would seem that Jackson has a distinct advantage even though these aren’t anywhere close to the Los Angeles Lakers he left behind in 2004. However, Larry Brown likes to make trades and could possibly revamp that whole entire limp-dick Knick roster before the All-Star break, giving the Knicks some wiggle room to possibly win a little more than 40 games.
